“I’ve just recently started going to this dentist in May, after not having been to a dentist at all in over 10 years… needing a good bit of fillings done, and a good cleaning, they were very friendly, and worked with me on everything! (My reasons for not having gone to a dentist in so long before now was due to so much trauma as a late teenager and having gone to a different dentist, he did not numb me at all when I had to get four deep fillings done and it hurt me so badly that I was terrified of ever going back!) Fast Forward to the last couple of months and 4 different appointments I’ve been to now, and I can honestly tell you that Dr. Dowdy is by FAR the best dentist in the area to go to! He was so kind, gentle, and very understanding of my fear.. he made sure I wouldn’t feel anything before he ever started the fillings, and constantly asked me if I was okay during the process to make sure I was comfortable. During my visit this afternoon, he even offered a blanket in case I was cold! I felt very as ease and knew I had nothing to fear. I’m so grateful they were able to work me in as a new patient, and got me in very quickly! The staff is very kind and friendly, always in a great mood and making you feel welcome! I will definitely continue going here from now on, and will definitely recommend this Dentist’s office to anybody looking for a new place to go! And they prices are very fair, they had no issues with my insurance.. they let me know well ahead of time before my next appointment what to expect to pay out of pocket, if anything at all! With all this being said, if you’re looking for a new dentist this is definitely the place to go!! I highly recommend them, and I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed!”

“Dr. Cheung is an excellent endodontist. I had a complex and complicated treatment plan that required rectifying prior root canal treatments from other dentists. Dr. Cheung ensured that I was comfortable during my treatment, and skillfully alleviated all tooth pain. I appreciate his attention to detail, especially due to the complexity of my infection. All infections were thoroughly cleaned and treated, and my natural tooth structure was maintained (this is greatly appreciated, as I was advised by other dentists that the tooth could not be saved). Dr. Cheung is highly skilled, knowledgeable, and dedicated to listening to the patient. Throughout the process, I was put at ease when Dr. Cheung explained each procedure step-by-step. I found Dr. Cheung's hand skills to be precise and deft: he was able to effectively save my teeth from lingering infections. “I have a somewhat difficult toddler (as most do I suppose ha); but I’d say mine is slightly more difficult having been diagnosed with Autism and having had a bad experience with a prior dentist at different dentist’s office. But this place was amazing from the front desk checking me in to the dental hygienist (I believe her name was Peyton but going to be honest and say my son was being a bit loud when she introduced herself). She was amazing, so gentle and calm with him. Then we had Dr Mark and he was also the most gentle and calming dentist I’ve had. Just made me feel like I’m not the worst mom around! Which I think most moms feel at one time or another! To the last person who checked us out that was also super sweet and listened to my son being super loud while I tried to fill out paperwork and never once made me feel bad and or got irritated. You can’t train compassion and I felt it from everyone here. But on top of compassion they were also were very knowledgeable and thorough with their assessments. Couldn’t ask for a better visit! Thanks to everyone!! Amazing experience and will definitely be back!!”

“After 3 years of trying to find a new dental home I came across this office, and while I met one of the staff outside the office, I felt like if she was a part of the office - I would be ok. So I GOOGLED the office and took a chance. Then I met Bianca, so pleasant and polite.. then I met the most awesome dental assistant whose name escapes me at this time of need, but I'm telling you, SHE IS AWESOME … I met Dr. Nicholas and then Courtney!!! My teeth needed a good cleaning (seriously) to remove surface staining and plaque and an exam. The last two places I scheduled a cleaning booked an appointment but nothing was done... just a look-see. Sterling Dental booked my appointment, did my x-rays, did an exam then cleaned my teeth. Feels like I never missed a cleaning!!! I am so happy!! Now on to the next to get some real dental work done. I was skeptical about dentists since the last one I had, did un-necessary work that failed. But in the back of my mind I knew how important a healthy mouth is, especially in relation to your heart!!
