“I actually love coming to the dentist's office now that I've found Dr. Harrison's practice in Wellesley, MA. Without exception, everyone there is welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere is so upbeat and caring that I don't feel anxious about even the most intense procedures--and I've had extractions, as well as implants done. I never feel any pain at all, and the staff is extremely attentive to their patients' individual needs. If you're uncomfortable, they make adjustments in their procedures. And all this is done with kindness and good humor. And speaking of humor, there's a lightheartedness in this office, and I frequently find myself enjoying a good laugh with one of the staff members, including Dr. Harrison himself. And I have to give a shout-out to Bruno, one of Dr. Harrison's techs. His gentle chairside manner and fun personality make each visit a pleasure. Staffs are super nice especially the manager there name Tammy, she works around with my insurance to ensure I get all the insurance benefits. I got my routine cleaning and teeth whitening by Dr. Ky. Please understand that I have to be truly impressed with a place, the people or a product to even think about reviewing it, I also weigh my words with select purpose. So after exhausting all my efforts to obtain dental insurance before the actual need arose, long story- short version, can’t get on hubbys, do not qualify for soonercare, no early Medicare dental signups until October 15th, tooth broke due to an old mercury filling not waiting until I could secure my dental insurance! Figures ,right?!? Covid having sunk our savings like most a while back, I was in dire straits! I learned the hard way dentists don’t work on Fridays! Made for a long painfull weekend! First thing Monday morning I walk! I walk into Custom Dental of Guthrie. A woman named Emily greeted me, patiently listened to my plight & immediately made me an appointment. I have no money but she did not care! Not having any food in a few days made me worry but I alas had an appointment to get the broken tooth out! Yay! So my appointment was AWESOME! It’s embarrassing at my age to have the loss of dignity due to mouth pain. These wonderful people made my experience as painless & dignified as ever! Dr Billings & staff are top notch professionals who know what they’re doing, talking about without making you feel less than! I didn’t meet Dr Brown but he has a fabulous practice with people who shine bright allowing others to do the same! Thank you for treating me with honesty and respect! Mostly, thank you for giving this dental coward her dignity back! That is a true blessing for me! 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Oh! “I was referred to Dr. Roxene S. Gascoigne by my dentist when she determined that I need a root canal. I could no longer stand the pain in my back molar due to its extreme temperature sensitivity, but I was apprehensive about getting my first root canal. My dentist must have sensed my concern about the procedure, so she assured me "Don't worry, Dr. Gascoigne is the best! She'll take good care of you." I made an appointment and appreciated the subsequent reminders about it by phone. A great convenience was getting a link to a web site that allowed me to fill in a bunch of forms before my actual visit. A root canal has a reputation of being a very painful procedure, so to quite be honest I was a bit scared. However, Dr. Gascoigne with her mellifluous voice explained the procedure to me in layman's terms and quickly put my mind at ease. Her assistant explained that I would have to wear sunglasses and headphones during the procedure. The sunglasses were for protection against the bright lights. "Why the headphones?" I asked, "So that I don't hear myself scream?" I asked Dr. Gascoigne point blank "Is this going to hurt like hell?" She smiled and assured me that I would feel no pain, and that the headphones were for music to put me in a relaxed mood. Hearing those words was like taking a heavy dose of Valium. After getting comfortably numb with a local anesthetic Dr. Gascoigne went to work, and when the drill hit my tooth ... NO PAIN! What a relief that was. The whole procedure went smoothly, and the drilling sounds were muted by the relaxing music of Miles Davis. My root canal didn't hurt at all. My initial fears were totally unfounded. I thought I would be writhing in pain like Dustin Hoffman in the film "Marathon Man" when Laurence Olivier repeatedly asks him "Is it safe?" Silly me. In summary, if you need a root canal, I highly recommend Dr. Gascoigne!”
