“I am a traveler here and i’ve never had toothache before but suddenly after arriving LA i got it. Since i only have travler insurance, my budget was limited and i have to find out dentist who doesn’t push unnecessary inspection and treatment. Even though it’s far from my residence i went del amo dentistry because my friend highly recommend here saying it would relieve your worries. It was my first time to go to dentistry out of my country, so i didn’t know anything on the medical sheet, but the person in front desk kindly let me know how to write it. Many thanks about that! While waiting my turn, i went to toilet and that was super clean and i felt very comfortable. After taking pictures of my tooths, i met dentist kevin and he was so soso very kind and had a good first impression! Several days ago i went ucla tour with my freind and knew that it is one of the best universitiy in US. I saw on the wall that dentistry kevin graduated ucla and was lucky to be here..he kindly explained why i had toothache. And also let me know the way i could be better in detail. It was so nice.. i always thought dentistry is very horrible place and didn’t want to go there. But after meeting dentist kevin my mind is changed. If i got any problem in my tooth, i would be here again without any worries.”

I had my first exam and cleaning this week with him and it was great! He is incredibly thorough, gentle, and he keeps you informed on what he is doing and why. You will not be in the dark! “This place is really a gem. I have medicaid which they do not currently take, however their prices are affordable and less than some co-pays I have had in the past with a traditional dental insurer. The staff are friendly and the office is beautiful. The dentist did not rush me and made me feel like a real person. I got an emergency visit in and was able to have a filling done within a week. “A big THANKS for Dr. Schuman for helping my wife with her dental emergency when all of the oral surgeons closer to our home were on vacation for New Year's. My wife developed severe pain in a molar and visited a local dentist at 5pm on New Year's Eve, who determined that the tooth would have to be extracted by a skilled oral surgeon because of the proximity of the sinus canal. New Year's Day we spent all morning searching through the Cigna website and Googling and making more than 20 phone calls. Clinics that claimed to offer after-hour emergency services were all closed. And even the 1-800 help lines that specialize in locating emergency dental services were of no real use beyond sympathy. But when we called Dr. Shuman and explained the emergency to him, he offered to treat her that afternoon. At his office, he fully explained the procedure and options, and made sure all of our questions were answered, while interjecting some levity to keep my wife relaxed despite the pain. The surgery went smoothly and quickly. We really appreciate that Dr. Schuman went the extra mile so that my wife didn't have to suffer another day.”
