“I have been going to Dr. Moffitt for a couple of years. I have a history of cholesteatoma (surgery 2017) and am partially deaf in my right ear. I'm only 34. He was the one that assisted me with picking out my hearing aid not too long ago and has been giving me my regular hearing tests. Today, 6/20/2022, he was the only doctor that has listened to me since I've been complaining about my left ear in August 2021. I have been complaining about loss of hearing, dull/aching pain, occasional sharp stabbing pain and more recently pulsatile tinnitus. After seeing that the tube in my left ear looked to not be beneficial and at my request, he removed the tube. It was then that he discovered possible granulation behind the ear drum and has referred me to an ENT. He also performed a hearing test on both ears and there has been a dramatic loss in my left ear since my last hearing test. I would like to apologize to the individual that left the 1-star review today for Dr. Moffitt. I had to wait about 20 or so minutes for my appointment and then I exceeded my allotted amount of time due to my circumstances. But if it wasn't for Dr. Moffitt taking the extra time with me today, I would still have that tube in my ear and I wouldn't know about the granulation. I have seen 3 ENTS numerous times since August 2021 and 1 as recently as a month ago to be told I was fine so today I am grateful for Dr. Moffitt.”
