But once he accepted me, they got me in within 2 days and the doctor spent at least an hour with me, getting to know me and any previous treatment I have had. I travel from Santa Fe now for appointments because it is worth it. I have always liked my practitioner (who has recently retired) and now am totally blown away with the new one, Sonia Armijo. If I could give her ten stars I would! Right out of the gate Sonia was extremely personable and friendly. She radiates caring and offered to do all of the exams, blood work etc. that I needed so that I wouldn't have to return for separate visits. She is SO knowledgeable about alternative as well as conventional medicine and, I would say, leans toward a holistic approach which I love. She is so enthusiastic and energetic.
