Had to call Fire Station 2 (Greenhurst). They came quickly, respected my mom's wishes for no siren. Had her out in less than a minute! “On Monday morning, November 7, 2022, I was on my way to work when my wife, who had some shoulder pain the previous night, called me in desperation. She was in extreme pain, hyperventilating and afraid that she might be having a heart attack or stroke. Fortunately only about 15 minutes away, I headed home and called 911 when about 10 minutes away. As I pulled up in front of my home, I could hear the First Responders' siren, which meant they had responded within 5 minutes of their notification! Lt. Gwin (sp?), FF Griffin and FF Mayfield were all very professional, knowledgeable, patient, and gentle as they examined my wife. They eased our fears as they checked her vitals, then they stayed even when the EMT's arrived to provide any further assistance. My wife and I are deeply grateful to the highly-trained CFD and these 1st Responders. Thank you VERY much!”
