“First, I have to respond to AYJAYSEE’s comment from 2018-ish and let he/she know that they are reviewing a FIRE station, in a LARGE CITY, not the ice cream truck. Of course they are going to be loud when necessary (responding to a call for help). I’ve lived down the street from Station 11 since 2009 and I hear those sirens day & night and they don’t bother me one bit... to me, they are assurance that help is nearby if/when I need them. That day came 12/01/2019. A 9-1-1 call was placed in the middle of the night and they were at my house in 5 minutes from the time the call taker picked up the line. Thank you Engine 11 & Rescue 1.”
