I got a return call the SAME day inviting the 2 year old to come and view the trucks. It absolutely made his trip. They let him get into the trucks and sit behind the steering wheel. They provided him with a fireman's hat, coloring book and other fun things. The two gentlemen that gave us the tour were wonderful. It's good knowing that we have the best working for the city of Portland.”

“I saw one of your fire trucks parked in the fire lane at Walmart. There was no emergency. Why park in the fire lane at Walmart away from the station? If there is an emergency at another location then your team members would have to walk through Walmart, walk on the pavement to the truck location and then drive to the emergency. That could DELAY the response time to an actual emergency. The emergency might be located on the opposite side of the fire station. That would be even more of a delay. You might also need all hands on deck and there could be multiple emergencies.”
