The entire shift -- lieutenant, firefighters and paramedics -- carefully educated the kids on fire safety and did everything they could to alleviate common fears children have regarding being rescued by someone wearing all the gear. They generously gave us over an hour of their time, making our group their top priority. I realize that budget constraints and rapid population growth have spread their personnel thin, but they showed deep care yesterday. I am thankful for these public servants”

“Had a visit from these wonderful professionals from Murrieta fire station 2 the other evening - sorry it wasn’t a social visit. Because of their quick and competent assessment of the situation, I was able to make an informed decision not to go to the hospital, although let me be clear that option was offered to me multiple times. Not only are they thorough, but compassionate and personnel enough to make you feel comfortable in the worst situations. I can’t thank you by name due to my stress level at the time, but I hope the Tuesday evening crew gets my message of appreciation- from the “migraine on Bolina “ - you are more valuable than any words can convey. Thank you all, and the others there with you for always being there for us ❤️”
