“It is time to stop for some diesel and so we find ourselves at Guthrie Travel Center, or as my husband calls it Velaro's. There is also a Golden Chick eatery inside, but it is temporarily shut down due to remodeling. We weren't here too long to check everything out, but what we did see was a little strange for a gas station. First off, I was running not walking to the restroom cause...you know this girl had to go! The restroom didn't smell bad, but there were wadded up paper towels on the counter, toilet paper on the floor and coming out of some of the stools. There was also a scale and a changing station in there. I couldn't get some of the faucets to work until I tried the very last one then BINGO we have a winner! Still not sure how I feel about those motion sensor things. By the time I came out, my husband had done fueled and was heading into the men's restroom, which he said was clean. I started looking around and taking pictures. Actually the store smelled clean. One of the employees was wiping down his counter, continuously spaying cleaner all over. I also saw the door to the Golden Chick that had been closed off with plastic hanging down from the ceiling, boards on the floor and with saw dust. Along with tons of fully stocked food, snacks and drinks was a corner filled with other products to purchase. Some of the items I've never seen before in a truck stop. The first to catch my eye was the white heads, for just $10.99 you can buy wig holders here! They also have very warm looking parkas.. aren't we about out of that season? There was also hats, sunglasses, purses, shirts, a kite on the wall that looks as though it didn't belong there along with the boxed up dolls at the top of the shelves holding the 2 lt. soda bottles and the wines. We didn't end up buying anything here except the fuel, though I do want to mention that other than the guy so focused on cleaning his counter, at the other counter near the entrance was a young man sitting that greeted us both when we came in and upon exiting. He's kind of hidden where he's seated, but was friendly and smiling.. this has been an interesting stop.”

“hi everyone, i recommend this place because it is never crowded and it now has the car wash working, i know that because one day when i drove by i saw someone washing their 2013 ford explorer. plus it says it on the main sign: "car wash now working". also i think they still sell gas for 3.31 per gallon, which is not all that bad. on the gas pumps there are faded stickers for Servco gas co. i guess that is what it used to be. also there is an atm inside. they apparently also sell propane, diesel fuel, kerosene, and bagged ice. i am not entirely sure, but i think they sell food and drinks inside too. just visit it, it is nicer in person. i will try to get some pictures so everyone can see how good it looks right now”

“As a former Love’s Employee and now consistent traveler I frequent Love’s Travel Stops and this one is by far the nicest, most cleanest and stocked one I’ve been too. Props to this Loves team in particular I could tell the crew does their courtesy checks and stocks their back stock often. Any employees their should be proud of their work and proud to be part of their team. My former store definitely needs to take lessons and I would probably still work there. Definitely choose this as your stop or rest designation”

The price is good also, I had my Honda van so it was $48, but I was charged $35(I think) for my Civic. Have five cars which I will continue taking there, and I tell all 400 of my coworkers to go here when they need to have their car smogged.”
