Thid is one of my favorite gas stations in morgan city and mt husband and I visit often. Bathrooms are generally clean. It is one of the only gas stations to offer gas with no ethonal in this area. “I was travelling through Ohio and got very sick -- bad case of motion sickness on a hot, July day. I pulled into the Lakeside Plaza and was sick in the bathroom. When I got out, I needed a place to lay down. The car was in the sun, and too hot, so the only shade was on the sidewalk on the side of the building. Jen & Amy were amazing! Even though they had to take care of customers, they came out periodically to check on me. They brought ice and water, and a wet towel to place on my head. They called for EMS services when they thought I needed to be checked out, and didn't try to get me to exit the sidewalk, as I was in no condition to walk. I rested for about an hour and finally was able to rest in my car when the sun wasn't blasting inside the vehicle. I am very appreciative of the care and concern that Jen & Amy provided me. Excellent customer service -- above and beyond the call of duty! Brett”

“When one purchases items from the Kroger's store, the number of dollars you spend adds up yielding discounts on gasoline. 85% of the time, the points I have accumulated result in a .20 per gallon reduction. Put a simpler way, with a .20 cent per gallon reduction, one can purchase mid plus grade for the price of regular. You save when you purchase your items at Kroger's and you save at the Kroger's gas pumps from the points you have accured. I feel it is a win for the customers if they shop at Kroger's and take advantage of their savings offerings.”

“This location of Speedway is complete with a SpeedyCafe inside which is a great feature. Not only does Speedway offer some of the best in customer service but the SpeedyCafe is open 24/7 offering a great menu with a large variety of options for quick, good food prepared fast and ready in minutes. This location is on a busy four-lane highway but fortunately has a light with a left-hand turn lane in for easy access both in and out of the store. They are open seven days a week and I have been visiting here for over ten months on a regular basis a few times a month at various times and they have always been staffed with the kitchen open and all menu items in stock, unlike some other SpeedyCafe locations I have visited. You order on one of several kiosk touchscreens and then take the ticket to the checkout to pay with any other items. Usually by the time you are finished paying your order number is called and your food is ready to pick up. From burgers, subs, paninis, pizza, and burritos they have a full selection of items all cooked to your order and fresh. Gas prices tend to be competitive with other vendors and usually less by a little. If you use their app you will earn points and you can earn points, get discounts or free items and receive some substantial gas discounts. I recently was able to exchange points for a $0.80 per gallon discount on a fill up while traveling. Speedway is definitely my preferred place to stop and this location is one of the better ones in our local area.”
