“The club on Madison in Riverside is great. Team members Veronika and Troy are always helpful and nice. When Veronika is working the women's locker room is always clean and well supplied. I recently started back at the gym and got a trainer for my first month. Ryan Munoz was a terrific trainer. He listened to what my goals were and made a plan to get me there. When I was having knee problems with specific movements, he changed my exercises so I could build up the strength in my knees without injury. In addition the other gym members have been very helpful, when I need a little assist on certain machines. I can say that I have had a really positive and enjoyable experience at this club.”

“Let me tell you about what kind of people the owners of Jiu Jitsu League are. Only a month or two after joining, I decided to fundraise for a 5k run for non-profit event for Parkinson's disease research for my father. Of all my friends and family, Hayley and Kevin were the FIRST to donate money to my fundraiser. Totally unexpected and appreciated. I honestly thought I was just going to be a number like any typical gym membership. They and all the members have been super supportive with me inside and outside of Jiu Jitsu. Let me tell you about what kind of people I meet at the Jiu Jitsu League. I live in a neighborhood with the worst parking conditions. I took an Uber to class one night. After one of basic classes, one of the members who I JUST met during that same class offered me a ride home. I could have been a serial killer or lived in Canada, but that member offered me a ride in his car without even knowing me. Everyone at the gym is supportive and friendly. I was able to make friends very fast. There hasn't been anyone I didn't like or am afraid of. The new location has plenty of parking, larger mat space, a filtered water fountain. There is a minimalist feel to the new gym. Less is more. There is a Starbucks, Chipotle, BWW, Ralphs grocery store, Ulta, AMC, Barnes and Nobles, BOA ATM and local shops/restaurants that share the same plaza as the gym. The gym schedule is awesome. In addition to their schedule, they now offer 9AM drilling classes on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. There is even Open Mat on Sundays too! The gym also uses a brand new $500 Dyson vacuum cleaner to clean the mats. I bet there is no other gym in the universe that has invested in a Dyson to clean their gym. There is positive karma and good vibes glowing out of this place. You don't meet great, genuine, and kind people like this everyday. I will defiantly stay as long as I can here. I am extremely thankful to be part of this community. Thank you Kevin and Hayley!”

“We had our wedding here in August 2021 and it was the best decision we ever made. Lindsay was AMAZING in every way! She was so responsive to all my emails and phone calls, and she was on top of every detail! It helped so much to know she had everything handled. She even set up the majority of our wedding decor and tables, etc. She was absolutely fabulous. Also, the food was delicious! Our guests told us several times how tasty everything was. We were even able to box up a couple extra entrees (a few guests didn't show up) and take them home! The venue is gorgeous for a wedding. We loved it! The bridal suite is also very large and new, although we did wish it had windows for some natural lighting. But there's windows everywhere else so that worked out great. A very beautiful venue for a venue that we would highly recommend!”

“I wanted to put out there that I’ve been attending Barefoot Yoga classes in Davis, CA., and I’ve really enjoyed the yoga classes taught by Mei, the owner. This is an unpaid and unsolicited review of her Vinyasa, gentle yoga, warm stretch, and yoga for neck and shoulders classes. I took the neck and shoulder class today. I have arthritis in most places, especially my neck and spine and her instruction really helped me to release the tension in a way that I have been unable to achieve at home alone. She’s also respectful of boundaries. On my first class she asked about limitations and if I wanted hands on adjustments in class. I said no and she has been respecting my boundary for no touch. (I hear other people enjoy her touch, but it’s just not for me right now). The only critique I have is that her “warm stretch” class is a little bit more vigorous than what I would consider a warm stretch (more like a slightly lighter Vinyasa with slightly longer warm up and cool downs). Please check out Barefoot Yoga. The studio is really clean. She has changing rooms, and a clean toilet area too. She has 2 week offers and also has other really reasonable membership plans and other flexible pricing options. There’s parking and bike racks and is easily accessible from most parts of town.”
