“Sat down for a bite at Ohmies, this afternoon and what a treat it was????????????????. It's a cozy little spot with tucked away in Roselle on Wood Ave. The atmosphere is earth, here. You even get that from the staff. Lite Spanish music playing in the background completes the ambiance to this little green jewel that gets a perfect kiss from the afternoon sun. I could sit here for hours. As for the food? I went with the Vegan Tuna and I had the Tropical Paradise Smoothie. Both were delicious, I can't wait to come back and try their other offerings. They've caught the vegan eye????????????”

“I found Unique Training Group through a Google search for a gym to go to while I was in town, and am so glad I did! It has been really wonderful to work with them, and has already made a big difference after only a month. I worked mostly with Andrew in the early mornings and he is an incredible teacher and coach. I had never really done any weight training before and Andrew was so patient, helpful and inspiring, even at very early hours (!) The amazing community that shows up every day at this gym is proof of the good work these guys are doing. I’m heading back on the road feeling so much stronger, and more capable after learning a whole new way (to me) to move and work my body, and am so grateful.”

“Great Neck Yoga, the classes offered there are suitable for the new to yoga student and yet still challenging enough for those who have been practicing for years. The prices at Great Neck Yoga are reasonable as well as there are packages offered that when purchased save money in the long term. Laurie's style of yoga, Prana Shakti Flow provides the practitioner the ability to learn from the ground up, the basics and yes eventually the more challenging poses, however that is not the goal in yoga or when Laurie teaches. At Great Neck Yoga, the practice builds a strong foundation which is really so important, without a strong foundation, nothing can stand safely, basically our practice and our life will be unsustainable. I have been a student of Laurie's for just about 10 years, I also became a teacher through her and Long Island Yoga School and I can say that if it weren't for Laurie and her compassionate and thorough way of teaching, I might not be doing what I do today or living well, (mind body and spirit), in the way that I am. I'm so very grateful for meeting Laurie so many years ago and for the practice of Yoga that she has brought to so many, including myself which is also found in my every day life, off the mat as well.
