She is responsible for rescuing animals, locating and returning lost pets ranging from bunnies, cats, and dogs to parrots, maintaining the animal licensing and running a wonderful dog park, Happy Hound Playground. She has helped to rescue wildlife including geese, deer, and even a crayfish! She runs a shelter that cares for cats dogs, lizards, fish and other animals who need homes. The animals are well cared for. She works to find the perfect home for every animal. It is a no kill shelter. Some cats have been there for years. There are no adoption fees. She can help residents remove potentially dangerous animals like poisonous snakes on their property. She also assists other towns and shelters when they need help, supplies, etc. There is not a more caring, dedicated animal control officer in the State of New Jersey.”
