“This review is a bit overdue, but after receiving a thoughtful condolence card I felt compelled to share how amazing Silverado was to my father and to me. Their staff is extremely professional and knowledgeable, but, more importantly, compassionate, empathetic and conscientious. I was unfamiliar with hospice and luckily was referred to Silverado by a friend in the long term care industry. They not only held my hand through the process, but connected me with services I had no idea existed. My only regret is that I didn’t know about them sooner. For the first time in six years, I didn’t feel so alone and felt I had a team of people looking out for my father’s best interest. From music therapy to volunteers, everyone I met from Silverado was amazing. They treated my father with respect and preserved his dignity, while keeping me updated with everything from additional services to notes after a visit. After my father passed, they continued to reach out and check on me. It warms my heart knowing people like this exist and I couldn’t be more grateful.”
