Each shopping aisle has a unique name posted as if it were a street. This makes it very convenient if you need help getting something that is not easily accessible. It is organized well & many vendors have a general theme in their area. We found the shops clean & organized. This is a great place to look for gifts. If you want to see everything be prepared to spend some time here. See if you can find the lucky penny embedded in the floor. :)”

“Brian is a 5-star quality flooring company. We have been burned before using companies that sell all kinds of flooring and they really don't know hardwood at all. Brian on the other hand is a hardwood specialist and it shows. We told him our concern that we wanted a wood with minimal knots and in a certain shade and he delivered. He also noticed that our original flooring of carpet was not level so he fixed that problem so the wood flooring is installed beautifully and even. We also want to thank his wonderful manager Joanna, who is always very friendly and courteous and knows her hardwood very well. In their impressive showroom, she personally showed us some high quality samples and was very patient throughout the process. If you want a high quality job from a specialist look no further!”

It's pretty masculine in there (in a cool way), but there's plenty of the daintier stuff if you continue West on Whittier. This place has stuff you won't find down the street, so it's worth including in your antiquing trip. I happened to find two of the same type of tube radio I like, one here and one at the other place! “JLH Construction and Design recently completed an extensive renovation of our home. We added a substantial addition to the home as well as having the existing portion taken down to the studs. Every space of the house was renovated including a complete kitchen reconfiguration, bathrooms were remodeled and all the living areas were updated. Electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems were all upgraded as well. The quality workmanship and attention to detail that JLH Construction completed the work with is one that we thought was of a bygone era. True artisans who not only know their craft but love practicing it too! We considered several contractors for our project, some of whom presented a lower bid. Ultimately, we chose JLH Construction because of the craftsmanship and integrity they presented during the bidding process and we were never anything but thrilled with our choice. Throughout the construction process, the Owner, Justin Harbinson was not only on the job site every day, but a hands-on artisan as well. His wife Lisa was also incredibly helpful with the selection of finishes and design portion of the project. We knew the entire crew by name and always felt comfortable with his crew and subcontractors being in our home. We definitely felt that everyone associated with JLH Construction didn't view our project as just another job, but took pride in delivering our dream home. They kept the work area clean and safe each and every day and went out of their way to minimize any inconvenience to us as much as possible. Over the years we have been involved with several remodeling projects and were often disappointed and frustrated with the process. On this project, which was definitely the most involved, we felt completely at ease and found the process of working with JLH Construction to be truly a pleasure.
