“As a newcomer to Corpus Christi, we quickly found out we had a lot of work to do with regard to homeowner's insurance. Never before did we have to deal with separate homeowner's and wind/hail coverage. We were blown away (in a bad way) with premium quotes from our (former) go-to companies, such as GEICO and USAA. In fact, those companies weren't particularly knowledgeable in wind and hail coverage...they simply farmed it out to other companies and provided no real explanations. I tried a few local companies, and while they were certainly knowledgeable, the premiums were still a tad too much. After perusing the internet, we decided to give Ed Cantu a try. His web presence and reviews were certainly top-notch, so why not? When we popped into the office, we were met by Ms. Robin Vega. She is absolutely everything we could ever want in an insurance rep...friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. She took a lot of time explaining our options and custom-built a complete homeowner's package just for us. The best part? The premiums are several hundred less per year than any of the competition. And in an awesome display of integrity, she pointed out how our current auto insurance carrier could not be beat insofar as the premiums (at this time), so we kept our current carrier (for now). During our second visit, we met Ed. He's every bit as friendly as Robin...and even gave us a copy of his book. Very cool. If you're looking for the best coverage, premiums, and service, why would you go elsewhere? Head to 7122 S. Staples...now!”
