“Absolutely phenomenal! I moved into a condo and the previous tenant left it a wreck. The carpets (a light tan color) were almost black with dirt. Max came and assessed the areas, told me because they were so dirty he would do his best but not to expect the carpet to look brand new given their condition. I completely understood and told him I did not expect any miracles given how dirty they already were. Well Max performed a miracle! They are SO. CLEAN!!!!!!! I was so shocked at how bright and clean the carpets are. And the price was super reasonable. Max and his partner (his son maybe?) were super quick, very friendly and professional. He moved around furniture to ensure he didn't miss a spot, and even put together my brand new couch that was just delivered (the delivery guys unfortunately arrived at the same time so Max had them leave it on the landing so he could properly clean the living room and then moved the couch into the living room for me when he was finished). The best part is that my carpets weren't soaking wet when he was finished, just a little damp but I could easily walk on them. I HIGHLY recommend this company and I will 100% be using them in the future.”

My only issue is sometimes I notice one of the securities(when she’s not working) using her keys for the employee only doors. Im not sure if that’s allowed while she’s using the machines, but it doesn’t sit right with me.”

“Dropped off a pair of jeans for alterations (Hem)... Picked up jeans and they are EXACTLY as I dropped them off .. Took them back and seamstress says she did alteration and was able to put distressed look back onto jeans. I even folded a cuff in the jeans to mark the hem line. It was still there when I picked up the jeans. When I purchased the jeans the inseam was 34" (is on the inside of the label), went home and measured and guess what they're still 34"... Didn't feel like arguing or going back for a second time... I'll just find another cleaning service. Cost $25 to lose my business... The owner always helps make any issues right if there is a problem. For the review saying the girl that cleans the clothes stinks, as many times as I've been in there, I've never smelled anyone that stinks. 2nd review Don Gibson best advice to give you is to count your pieces before you leave with them and have them write the number on your ticket. For the others saying about the 10 PC special price, you should always know to ask about what the special and discounts details are before leaving. People are always in a hurry and dont bother to ask questions, but will be quick to gripe when knowing they should take the time to check. Every place has stipulations on specials and discounts WHEREVER you go regardless! Anyone should know a dress covers 2 parts of your body, so it counts as 2 pieces. NO BRAINER! I even knew that without asking. Definitely a cleaners to check out first before listening to the negative comments on here.”

“They saved the day!!! We had a wedding at work and somehow one of the bridesmaid dresses became stained. I do not live in Oyster Bay and have no connections to any dry cleaners in town, but took a chance with running over to GreenSleeves with the dress. They looked at the dress (and my sad face) and said because it was an emergency they would help us out. 1.5 hours later they called me to pick up the cleaned dress. The dress looked like new and the wedding went on without a hitch. I can't say enough about how great their customer service is, especially since we had no connection previously.”

“Omg is the name of this place really “Pleasant”? I can’t imagine why because the lady working there was anything but. She was nasty for no reason. First one of the machines accepted the first $1.25 of $4.25 and would not take any more coins. They kept popping back out of the coin return. I tried and tried to no avail. I went to ask her for help and she came over with a HUGE snotty attitude and practically pushed me out of her way she was so annoyed. Then my grandchildren dared to push one of the carts and she screamed at me “Can’t you read the sign? Kids can’t use the carts!!” I was so angry at her continuous nasty looks the entire time we were doing our three big loads of laundry. Apparently Pleasant Laundromat was named before this woman came to work here, because our experience was anything but pleasant. Three of the six dryers we used didn’t even slightly dry the clothes so we had to switch the clothes and lost our money. I wasn’t going to tell that nasty woman because I’m sure somehow it would have been my fault.”
