They restarted the scanning machine just for me. I am so grateful to them. I have no words to describe the helping nature of the staff. I always feel so nice when I go there. “Nice small well-stocked library. Good seating and friendly helpful staff. Tons of books, videos, and other items available for loan. Oddly, there were two pianos in the main room when I went there; not sure if that's a standard thing. They also have a separate room (with a door!) for quiet work / study. Giving 4 stars because the wifi dropped with no idea when it would return. If / when this gets a permanent fix, I'll up to 5 ☆.”

“Copiague Public Library provided a refreshing feel to the library experience. I went there to unearth some information on North Amityville. The librarian gave me 3 large edit volumes. At first, I thought well this is a bit overwhelming. However, being in that study room created a space for me to completely immerse myself into the reading. It let me completely shutout the world outside and become apart of what I was reading.”

They may not have all the books, but they will quickly order it from the county library for you. Great kids section with lots of activities. “The Mark Twain Library is LOVELY - in a historic with modern add ons complex -- it is both a small museum and community library. It was founded by author Samuel Clemens - Mark Twain - in the early 1900s - It offers classes, films, lectures, book clubs, children's programs - and of course - books! I love it - - very cozy and with its history - a very good place to explore books and all that the programs it offers!”
