“Super cool interior reminds me of old school bar / pizza joints with tin signs and red and white table covers. Smelled great walking in, and there was a decent crowd for early lunch. Ordered a chicken Parmigiano hoagie with curly fries. Everything is scratch made, so it takes a little longer for food to be delivered. The problem was only one server/greeter/busser for all the tables. There was a random lady walking around, but she seemed focused on what I assumed was her kid. My server was excellent but stretched too thin. Here's the Breakdown: Cool interior +1 star; great smells +1 star; yummy food +1 star; nice server (who needed help) +1 star. I'd go back.”

Lady was nice not rude answered my questions about white chicken or not. She said all the chicken is white breast. Orange chicken and combination fried rice all good. “I love Lampert's so much! I stopped and bought 2 lbs of chicken tenders, linguine salad, macaroni salad and zucchini bake. “We visited for the first time, took us a bit to go over the menu ( there are so many great options). The 4 of us got different things to taste test each other's and was not disappointed. The foods ordered were the colossal babe grilled cheese ( fried egg and bacon) with fries. Assassin burger with tots, cheese steak with tots, steak Mac and cheese and chicken fettuccine Alfredo and the bradentucky hot dog. Everything was very good. A couple of personal preference things for myself would be more seasoning to the chicken in the Alfredo, dice up onions on the dog so when you take a bite you don't pull everything off whole. The tots were really good and me not being a big fry person loved the hand cut fries! We will be going back to try other menu offerings! Whoever helped us at the counter they were very patient with us and helpful when we asked about the items we were looking at.”

“We have been there twice and every time it is fantastic!! I love their amazing curry with broccoli! It really hits the spot. The spice level is graded on a scale of 1-5. I usually go for #3 which is just spicy enough to enjoy it. They also have a spice tray they will bring you if you ask. They have canned sodas but I opted for water, which didn't taste bad. I forget the actual term for the order but it was essentially elote nachos. Very good; I assume very fattening, but that’s what you come here for. As with elote everywhere else it’s understood that you will add your preferred level of spice yourself. They have plenty of toppings on hand. I had my order to go and everything was included in the bag: fork, napkins, spicy toppings. They didn’t leave anything out. Excellent experience. Will certainly be back when we are in the area again. Pro tip: there was only one size available for what I ordered and it’s definitely splittable. It looked to me like most of what they offer can be shared.”

Biscuits and gravy are hard to mess up, but they did an excellent job making the biscuits go perfectly with the sausage gravy; I was a big fan of the texture and how it paired with the chicken. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and swift. Drinks were refilled without asking, the food was fresh and prepared as requested, and the meal was paced well. While it doesn't have much capacity inside, it definitely adds to the charm of the overall experience. This was my first visit for a small takeout dinner on a Friday night. Ordering over the phone was very easy, the staff member was very polite and helpful explaining which vegetarian options/ingredients were available for one person's order. Plus, I could tell they were busy, which we truly appreciate. There wasn't a long period of wait time. The food was especially memorable, and refined to most by comparison in this area. Everything was perfectly delicious our first time around so we decided to come back to dine inside another time. The rice itself has good texture and flavor (on some of the nigiri), great quality, flavorful, balanced, with fresh ingredients. Every single bite was memorable and delicious!”
