I have had numerous bad experiences with moving companies from theft to damage. This was the best experience we ever had moving and we are retired military! The attention to detail packing and caring for every item in our home was unreal! Friendly, punctual and responsive are just a few words to describe them! They had daily inspectors on site and also randomly visit to ensure the job was moving along. The office was terrific, if I called they actually answered and took care of issues on the spot. They took a nervous family with a history of bad moves and went out of there way to turn our experience around! “This review is to help my fellow drivers out there learn a little about Bard transport from a driver's point of view. I have been behind the wheel of a big rig for about 16 years after getting my license from MTC training (st. Louis) back in 2007. Bard is hands down, the best company I've ever seen. "Best" is kind of a simplistic way to describe a successful, well compensating, top tier ethical, comfortable, reliable, new equipment, and patient company. Part of what makes them so great, in my opinion, is how well the dispatch and planning team coordinate loads for you. You can accumulate maximum legal miles (if desired). Seamlessly well scheduled loads, it hardly feels like you're working all that card to accrue competitive wages. You should easily make 2000 bucks a week. Honestly, if you're a strong driver, i believe you can make more than that even. I've been here a month now and haven't had a single disappointment in any regard. Top pay, the folks who work around you, seriously couldn't be more respectful, patient, and with a will to put your needs to rest immediately. It seems to me that everything has been piece by piece thought through. From well planned loads, to dispatch & planners respectful personalities. It's pretty clear that the organization has had much brainstorming applied to it. I've received a 2022 fully loaded volvo 860 ((new trailer)) The truck has the collapsible bottom bunk that turns into a camper booth with a massive table. Google the 860 with workspace table if you haven't seen one before. It's seriously a game changer for any true otr driver who loves travel. There's always plenty of time on each load as well so far. If you want to run hard, they have those miles as well. In the past 7 days, I ran about 3800 miles. However, I've been eager and pushing to run hard. If you run less, they absolutely will modify and tailor to your work abilities. Really, they're the nicest people in the game, my experience thus far. If you come here with a good attitude, there is no reason not to thrive. This truck I can not say enough about, it makes you happy to be a truck driver again. Our Boss, who is the owner, i feel, put a lot of thought into making sure drivers have everything necessary to operate on the highest level out on the road. The situation is actually motivating to me. As drivers, here you'll want to reciprocate because you see a company doing everything they can to set you up for success. That doesn't seem to be a common occurrence at most companies in my experience. Quite often, it's the contrary. Many companies have a toxic, low rent environment whose shortcomings become our problems. Time and money are lost, and in the end, it's just a waste of time and energy. That's not my experience at all, and literally show no signs of it. You can earn as much as legally and legitimately possible here. Actually, it seems they're quite conscious of not overworking you. Anyone who gives this place a chance will be glad they did, no doubt. My truth is that I'm beyond grateful to have found this company for myself. She arranged storage for some items that couldn't fit where I was moving and didn't have time to figure out what to do with them. When I call her, I feel like I'm calling a friend...
