“Now in its new, unassuming location in a concrete and asphalt business park (instead of it's original, nice surroundings in a real, green park), the staff has nevertheless created a modern, thoroughly impressive museum showcasing a fair amount of the history of Lake County and its peoples, both native and immigrant. The museum is now much larger than before, with a mix of information making it suitable for all levels including children and those who wish to delve into more detail. Definitely worth a visit, and I hope Lake County eventually creates an annual museum pass. One comment about time: those who are quick surface browsers may spend 60-90 minutes, but those who wish to read and discuss all of the exhibit material may wish to do so over a2-3 hour period of time.”

Address: Wakefield Ct, Santa Clarita, CA 91350, USA
“Wakefield residents do an amazing job of decorating and coordinating this spectacular enclave of lights and music. It is the most impressive display to be found the Santa Clarita Valley. It is popular so dress warm and be prepared to walk. Parking on Wakefield is not an option. While you can drive through the neighborhood traffic is heavy and slow. The view from a car window is limited. If you can't make it this year mark your calendar for next year. It is well worth the wait.”

“A wonderful historic site and museum dedicated to the Irish immigrant and working class railroad families of the 19th century. In a class by itself as an original urban house museum.”

“Great for baby to maybe age 7? My kids had a lot of fun and the staff was very nice! The only part I did not care for was that you have to get a key to use the bathrooms in the hallway in the common area (outside the museum) and are shared with the other businesses in the building. This becomes very inconcovenient if you have more than one child - every time one of them needs to go potty, I had to get a key (which I am phobic about the germs I suspect are on it anyway) & lug all 3 out to the bathrooms and take them away from what they were doing.”

“Adamson House Museum is a historic home and garden set along the beautiful Malibu coastline owned by the Ringe-Adamson family. This house is rich in history and architecture. The house, all 5,000 square-foot, sits on a 13,000 acres of land with majestic pacific ocean view. We took the guided tour for $7 bucks per person. Our tour guide, Marilyn, was exceptionally knowledgable, professional and fun. We toured the whole house and its outdoor compound. We truly enjoyed and spend 1.5 hours touring this historic house. Free street or paid parking ($6 bucks) is available. Overall, we had a wonderful time and I highly recommend you visit AHM.”

“This is a great educational little museum. Well kept up and well staffed. It is best to visit if they have a special exhibit, otherwise it is just too small for the cost.”

“This is a private car collection and museum, which I don't think is open to the public. They restore old cars back to a presentable state. I've only once seen the automobiles that they were working on and the seem to do an excellent job.”

“Surprisingly interesting! More of a science museum than a history museum, which I wasn’t expecting. Once you get into the main grounds, the applied science exhibits are fascinating. They bring many physics and chemistry concepts to life.”
