“Beach camping is much different with all the sand. After going here for week 2 years in a row I’d say I’m getting not only used to it but kind of hooked. You know that feeling when you’re about to leave to the hotel with all the beach stuff... that doesn’t happen with beach camping. The waves here at Doheny beach are descent to boogie board and surfing is just a walk north a half a mile. There are showers and plenty of bathrooms. Very fun with the family and extended family.”

“Went for lunch and the service was excellent. The decorations are fantastic. If you sit in the middle of the restaurant there are tons of funny signs on the ceiling and walls to read. The food was decent. I was disappointed that the kids meal said mini hot dogs then we got a larger than average hot dog. We sat on the patio originally but had gnats floating in our drinks so we moved inside.”

I will be going back VERY soon after a couple more pay days. Highly recommend! It's BYOB and all nude which is my favorite. The club is also very nice on the inside and maintained well. There's a mainstage and two side stages with swing- like contraptions on them.”

“Second best fish & chips I've ever had. That is meant as a compliment - - the first was made with wild Alaskan salmon. I've lived near the ocean all my life; Hawaii, New England, California, and I worked in Seattle for a while. I know my seafood, and the Alaskan halibut was done to perfection. The "chips" (French fries) were excellent. A decent wine list is provided too, which was much appreciated, since I live in the heart of Wine Country. The place is popular and noisy, but they don't present the place as anything more than a bar. Clean, modern design, ample seating at the huge, centrally located bar or the many tables inside and outdoors as well. In addition to the wine list, the bar is impressively stocked, and the beer list offers everything from imports to locally brewed craft beers. The usual appetizers and pub grub seemed to more than please the customers around me. The other dish I tried, their Voodoo pasta, is good too, but unless you have decades of experience with the most spicy of foods, proceed with caution. This one gets a "four Cajuns" heat rating.”
