I ordered it medium plus and it was perfect (not that many steakhouses offer that option of medium plus so I was quite happy when I found it) Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and and made the right recommendations for our party of 12 on shareable sides and quantities. “Le Colonial is one of my favorite restaurants in San Francisco. I have been coming here since the mid-90s from out of town and I've never been disappointed. The food, service an ambience are always consistent with what you would expect for a really nice San Francisco restaurant. My favorite part is that you can select from a more fine dining experience on the second floor or head up to the third floor, eat off the same dinner menu but have a more casual experience. The decor is cool too.”

The venue has a rustic feel with high ceilings and exposed timbers. The staff is friendly and helpful. Amble parking, many handicap spot right in front with no accessibility issues that I can see.”

“The private villa clubhouse is a great place to hang out with the family and have a few drinks poolside. The pool is huge and kept at a constant temperature. The entire staff is very accommodating. Most of the folks we met and spoke to use the private clubhouse as they wait for their villa to be ready (which is 5pm by the way). They have a large amount of chairs to relax and umbrellas to keep the sun at bay. The one thing I will mention is that the umbrellas cannot be repositioned as the sun moves. Therefore, you will get a sunburn if you aren't prepared during the summer. The drinks are pretty pricey but it is a 5 star resort.”
