“My Dad, Walt has been in Oak Manor Skilled Nursing for several years now; he has always been very well cared for by the staff in his section. The nurses and nurse’s assistants are very concerned he is happy, taken care of, attended to, looks nice, hair combed, and is wearing clean clothes. He could have died when his hernia burst but his nurse. Susan McDonnell, acted quickly and called for emergency care and saved his life. His nurse’s assistant Vidya Sinanan is very friendly and keeps me informed of what is going on during his day. He loves to go on the Friday lunch outings and Taylor Kamensky makes sure he is included as much as possible. Even the accounting staff, Holly Stephany goes out of her way to make sure his finances are in order and is proactive in covering his insurance needs. I want to thank every one of the staff that knows my Dad and cares for him on a daily basis. Nursing can be an unrewarding job but I have never experienced negativity with the nurses that care for my Dad. Thank you all for your efforts in caring for the elderly. Sandy, Walt’s daughter.”
