“My mom, age 89, suffers from Alzheimer's stage 3. She left her house at 3am without anyone knowing. My dad called me on the phone very upset. He is 93. I called 911. I explained everything and the address to the Plantation police dispatcher who was very understanding. When I arrived at my folks house from Davie, there were 5 police cars at the house. They found my mom several houses away trying to get in. Lost and confused they were gentle and kind. They walked slowly with her back to the house. Sgt Ryan and Ofc Canary among several other officers could d not have been nicer. They gave us numbers to call for advice and took her pic to keep on file incase it happens again. I love the Plantation police Dept. I am forever grateful!!! Sincerely, Susan O'Brian”
