“I always see the JV police patrolling the area, especially my neighborhood and cul de sac all throughout the day, night, and early AM, so I know they work hard to keep this area as safe as they can. I had an emergency at 4am when my toddler had a seizure and I called 911. Wow....they showed up along with the first responders to the house super quick! I’m talking about less than 2 minutes. Everyone was extremely caring to the situation. A policeman escorted the ambulance while I followed behind to the nearest hospital and even stopped traffic so that we could get through. We parted ways right there and everything was okay afterwards. I am so grateful for everyone that had a part in helping that early morning. Thank you so much for everything!”

Everything was so orderly I didn't have any questions, everything was sent promptly via email for the instructions about the race and everyone was so nice. I got to run with a lot of great people they had service dogs and the bomb squad showing people the bomb robots it was really nice if HC ever conducts anything to do with police officers or veterans I will always be available to give my support. “Yesterday I tried to walk through an unplowed driveway of snow to get to my mailbox. I am 71 years old and not in very good condition; that should have stopped me from such a chore. But it didn't. I got the mail and sent some mail out, which I haven't been able to do since the storm started on Friday night; but when I started the return trip, well, I tripped! I fell down into the soft snow and couldn't get up. Fortunately I had a cell phone with me and called 911. In less time than I can even tell you, two wonderful police officers (one being the Chief) were helping me to my feet. They not only got me up out of the snow, they escorted me on foot through the deep snow back to my home. God Bless these guys! They are the best! I'm very grateful that they helped me out of a dangerous situation in which I managed to put myself. Thank you from the snowy bottom of my heart.”

The Apopka Police gave us an escort from the funeral home to the cemetery and it was one of the greatest things I’ve seen. They did an amazing job at keeping traffic at bay especially since traffic at that time was already crazy. We could’ve used that escort home too. “My husband James and I can not THANK SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL enough for taking our 4 dogs into their shelter during & post our November 6th eviction from our decade long rental home. Our Jack Russell Teddy Bears- Spunky and Bam Bam are the best dressed homeless dogs in the area in their new winter sweaters. They are spoiled rotten running around our motel and motel room. Rocko and Kiana have moved to Rocko's birthplace in Caroline County. They lucked out that my husband found a friend with two empty kennels in his backyard. A financial stretch and a challenge for us to care for them daily but after a few days of almost nonstop barking they have settled in and quieted down.
