“I remember the night i got arrested fondly. I was on my phone outside of a liquor store when a cop asked me if i was doing alright, I was doing alright i almost started to cry because of his concern. He then asked me my name and i looked into his welcoming eyes and informed his of the name i possesed given to me by my parents. He then commended me to have a nice night and drove away... I felt empty and incomplete. About 30 long minutes passed and i was sitting and occupying my empty time with my phone when he pulled up again and told me i had a warrent. I WAS SHOOK. We stared at each other for a moment and i asked him if i needed to come with him he confirmed my hopes. Yes hopes. Then he used his soft but stern hand to put those cuff around me. I miss. That day and think about it often i wonder how hes doing. I love you greg ????”

“CLPD does a great job. People tend to drive very fast through our subdivision and there are lots of kids, so for a whole afternoon, not one but two officers came and sat in different culdesacs within the subdivision to help correct the problem. It really helped and the residents with kids really appreciated it. Another time, someone in our neighborhood witnessed someone trying to get into cars. CLPD increased patrols in our subdivision. Our subdivision's Facebook page has shown considerable positive feedback about their commitment to keeping the residents in our subdivision safe.”

“Honestly, the cops in Claremont are doing their jobs, and because they are doing their jobs, it keeps the city so nice, so clean, they have awesome public works/public assistance (including libraries, a homeless shelter, multiple churches that run food drives, etc) and the entire city gives one another support. The only complaint I have is that the police can be a bit over vigilant. This means that if you are not dressed appropriately or you do not fit cleanly into a certain stereotype (i.e. Bicyclist, clean cut hipster or tourist, middle class / upper middle class of any race, or anyone dressed in proper business casual) you will be looked at by the cops suspiciously. If you do not have a legit license or proper tags/registration on your car, do not come to Claremont at all.”

“I live next to the range, like, right next to it, about as close as you can get. Yeah it's loud, and sometimes they go suprisingly late into the night, and yeah, it's like a giant taunting reminder that I also live next to a CLOSED gun range, and that there are no longer any gun ranges at all in San Francisco city proper, except for that police gun range, right. next. door. BUT, at least all that noise means they're practising, and with all that noise they must be practising a lot, silver linings and all that, the more accurate the police are the better, in my opinion.”

“I got a really dumb speeding ticket...It was my first day moving here and I didnt know the speed limits. I was only going about 15 miles over the speedlimit and the cop was rude and inconsiderate and had something in his teeth. Also, he didnt even show up to court because he knew he was wrong. I shoulndt have gotten this ticket especially since it wasnt even my vehicle. I stole it from the sheriff that pulled me over, and for some reason he still came after me. Its ok though because he neeeded the workout.”

“Dsp is the most professional police force in the US. Don't be a criminal and you'll like them more. I have had many interactions with many troopers from troop 2, never a single bad one. You will see a lot of outright lies in the reviews of others here. It's common for any police force to receive bad reviews from liars and criminals. The rest of society appreciates that you don't like them, it means they're doing their job well.”

“I stopped to get gas at sheetz by 355/interstate 70 on July 7th. I had seen a state trooper n some gentleman standing outside of store talking when I pulled in. Not knowing but as I got out to pump gas my husband was passing out, as I went to put my credit card back in wallet I seen Mike falling/leaning over in seat towards middle. I yelled his name he didnt respond, then I started to rub my knuckles into his chest to try and get him to wake up. I didnt have any luck, so being aware of my surroundings when I pulled in seeing the state trooper I started to run towards him saying help me my husband has passed out and I cant get him to come to. The officer and the gentleman ran to vehicle and started to work on him. At that time 911 was called and within 3 mins they was there. At the time of this I didnt get to say" thank you" to the officer or gentleman that was speaking to him. Later on my friend who is a dispatcher said his name is Nathan Rector. I want to thank him for doing what he does and being in the right place at my right time. Also to the gentleman that was there as well that helped. Officer get a bad rap but there job is never the same thing which goes back to there training. Mike n I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being there!.
