“Just wanted to share a positive experience: we did a night hike recently, where we cover trails during light, then back roads after dark, but hiker who joined late had parked on a back road. When we arrived to pick up his car, the officer was out in the woods looking around in case anyone was lost or hurt. It feels good to know that our local guys are out there actively seeing to the safety of trail users. Readington is fortunate to have such a pro-active department with professional and courteous demeanor. Thanks for all you do.”

“Never had a problem with the police, was actually grateful that the one police officer knew my dog and wasn't afraid to make entry to my home despite the warning from the alarm company that owner has a pit bull on premises... My only complaint is that the police station has regular 9 to 5 business hours like a bank, that and my neighbors and I have complained about speeders on residential streets with kids playing and they have done nothing to resolve it...”
