“Foolishly drove my boat into Spindle Rock off of Glen Island. I was alone with my daughter and the boat was taking on water. Miraculously Sgt. D'Onofrio, New Rochelle PD Marine Unit was pulling out of Glen Island Harbour and saw us in distress. His instincts were awesome. He immediately rescue towed us into Glen Island marina before boat was flooded. This was a very close call for us. Sgt.D'Onofrio is a hero.”

“This is one of the oldest Police Department in NYC. Originally the Brooklyn Police,chartered in 1899,refusing to merge with NYPD by being absorbed when asked by the city of NY apposed by Seagate home owners association /Tax payers. The idea was to keep and fund their very own Police. If you get arrested by them I can assure you that you will go to a real court house and a real jail . I did some research and they' are very real.
