“NYPD Highway Patrol 2’s most finest, Officer Pocasangre allowed me and my wife to run this year’s TCS New York City Marathon. We missed the last bus from NY Public Library and took a yellow cab down the BQE, where the fork for the Verrazano was already blocked off and bridge closed to public already. Officer Pocasangre instinctually told us to get in his vehicle, drove us up the Verrazano Bridge and stopped the marathon bus so they could let us on. He allowed us to get to Staten Island and start the race. He is our absolute hero of the year. Thank you officer Pocasangre!!!!”

“I love the town of North Arlington! I run my two small family businesses side by side here! Dream come true as I have lived here my whole life and have seen the town change quite a bit. That being said I have been extremely happy with the current police officers! Every silly or concerning reason I have needed their assistance for either of my businesses or personally, they have responded quickly and professionally. To me, the town of North Arlington has always been my only destination to raise a family! The recent national news was well warranted and deserved but not needed for me to love it more! It starts from the inside with our law enforcement and politicians which I think are doing a hell of a job.. I believe there could still be major improvements but what town or business does not! Thank you NAPD for your promptness and service! I am confident North Arlington will be a top rated town for years to come and my prediction is if I have anything to do with it, will become even more prominent, powerful and united over the next few years! However, they need to treat the community’s Asian-American residents better; needless to say they need to watch their biases with Latinos and black folks too. Also need more diversity in the police force to represent their community better... other than that, a good Police Department.”
