“The US Post Office located in downtown Acton, CA has had its past problems, but if I ever had an issue with USPS, this post office would be the one I called because they get resolved immediately. Although I do not own a post office box there, I have had no problems with the house mailbox or any break-ins and our mail has always been religiously spot on! Also, the Post office staff have always been extremely personable and will go the extra mile for you (which is a rarity in the USPS world). The prices are a little higher for the area, but worth it for great in-town mailing services with a beautiful smiles!”

I received the runaround from both the tracking website (which was not accurate) and from the automated phone system (which made me hold for over an hour) but in the end I walked into this branch, told them my address, and a rather pleasant employee went and got it for me from the back. I give no rating reduction because of the bad online and phone experience; the missing star is due to the apparent failure of the delivery person to put a "sorry we missed you" paper in my mailbox. But I flagged the item to be held online, went to the branch, and sure enough, there it was. Good thing someone was paying attention - credit where credit is due.”
