“We ate dinner here yesterday, the first time for both. Hubby had the Stromboli. I had the Chicken Florentine. Our waitress was friendly, quick and seemed knowledgeable about the menu. She made several recommendations; my entree being one of them. We enjoyed our meals and the bread that was served when we sat down. The salads were a little droopy (brown lettuce, old looking) but the ranch dressing was very good. The restaurant was clean, restrooms were clean, and table location comfortable. We ordered as mentioned above, hubby ordered a house salad (mine came with my meal), I ordered a side of Italian sausage, and we both had tea. Our bill was $40.55. We figured $20/person for dinner was not bad at all. We will eat here again. Maybe try the pizza. 😋”

“Parking was great and got seated right away. We arrived an hour after they opened so it wasn't too busy yet. Some of the food was "ok," and some was really good too. We ordered the patty o'melt, which was delicious. We also ordered the chicken tenders, which I was unhappy with. My tenders were hard and over cooked, so I had to pull everything apart to get the little bit of meat out that wasn't overcooked. Because of the lengthy cooking, the little I got was dry. The fries were good, so there was nothing wrong there. We also ordered the spinach and artichoke dip, and it came cold. I've had this before when it was piping hot and the cheese was melted. This one was cold with cheese sprinkled on it, not melted. I was pretty disappointed. For dessert, we had the caramel pie thing, and it was amazing. That was the best part of my meal. Overall, it was ok. I've eaten at this location 3 years ago, and it was amazing, which is why we went back. I hope the next time we go, it will be amazing again.”

“Had my first Waffle House experience when I was down for a wedding in late September 2023. The very friendly waitress told me for first time I had to get waffles. Well, that's what I wanted anyway! Then she said no honey, you have to try the flavored waffles. She had me at chocolate peanut butter waffles. I also got a side of hash browns, eggs, and bacon. The waffles were very good, I expected no less. The eggs were good. The bacon cooked perfectly. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. Considering how slow things move in the south the Waffle House is the exception. Everything came out hot, fast, and delicious.”

Waiters are super friendly and attentive. House specialty is the Barbacoa. Normally, I try the house specialty to see if they stand up to their advertisement, but this time, I was feeling the Birria, so we dove into that... The birria did not disappoint 👏 😁 Ordered a combination that comes with beans, rice, and salad. Portion was ok. Tbh, I expected more considering the price. But any more, and I would have had to be barreled out, so it was just right 😅 Also ordered the Mango Margarita...a Def must try if margaritas are your thing. The menu is decent and varied, which is great for repeat visits. Price is a bit more relative to portions and overall experience, but then again, it is LV, so we deal with it. On the downside, one of my beliefs is that any place that can't get the basics down correctly is usually not a good sign.... Case in point...Chips and Salsa. Doesn't get any more basic than that...it's a tone setter. I've never tasted cardboard, but if I had it, it would probably taste better than the chips I was served. It was a bummer to begin with, but I remained positive. That said, it definitely made a difference when it came to me ordering the guacamole. At $11 for guacamole, I couldn't even imagine having guacamole on cardboard, so that was a hard no for me. Maybe it was me, but you have been warned...see for yourself 👀🤷 All in all, Casa Tlaquepaque was a decent experience and a change away from the norm in Vegas, which was good. So check it out! Fish wrap didn't have tarter sauce like menu said, but was otherwise very well cooked and put together; came with generous portion of fries. Pretzel bites were perfect! Also ordered bologna sandwich that was very plain, could have used cheese? They did provide mayo on the side after we asked. Seemed like staff was having a hard time keeping up with full glasses; however, there was a very large group of folks in the dining room, reunion or something. There was live entertainment that kept patrons engaged. Overall, nice place, will return.”

The pizza restaurant was clean, well maintained, tables were neat and set well, and staff were helpful, curteous, and professional. They off a wide variety of other menu items besides the best pizza around! They have a game room for the kids, televisions around to watch the game, and an area you can reserve for larger parties. “Excellent experience. Our server, Jodi represented the company better than most managers could. She described the menu in detail so we knew what we would get with our order. With that, we ordered the Scholarship Burger with a side of Gumbo and a Shrimp Po’ Boy. Jodi updated us while waiting for our lunch and refreshed our drinks. As the photos show, the food looked amazing when it arrived and everything tasted good except we felt that everything had a bit too much salt. The burger looked much larger that the 1/3 lb. that the menu said. The meat was seasoned and had a brioche bun. The Gumbo had great flavor. There were plenty of shrimp on the Po’ Boy and we took Jodi’s advice in buying the ‘whole’ sub because it was only $1 than a ‘half’ sub. We took the rest home. Then we got the Doughnut Bread Pudding. WOW! It must have been 4000 calories. But who cares; it was amazing! Good thing they put that whipped cream on top. This is a great restaurant and without knowing the possible issues during a sporting event, I highly recommend it. We will be back.”

There was a very nice employee that welcomed me with a warm smile . I came in asked for a recommendation and the employee recommended an avocado BLT.
