“This is not one of those chain chicken restaurant! I have always heard about this place but never went until today. And it was A-MAZING. I got a 3 piece meal with white meat. The chicken was so fresh and real! There was nothing odd about the texture like some places. And the pieces were nice size but not overly large like they had been working out. Even the roll that came with it was delicious with the chicken. I chose fries as my side and yep they were yummy too! I chose a cherry drink that I had heard so much about and my oh my! I am sad I waited so long to visit, but now I know. Now to set the proper expectations, service was a tad slow but that is because everything is back there being cooked like grandma used to do in her kitchen and the food was definitely worth the wait. I cannot wait to try other menu items.”

There's lots of great opportunity for atmosphere; like a bar and other excellent decor features. It just is a little bland, and I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that people haven't discovered it yet. I evaluate the price of sushi in a restaurant based on the price of their rainbow roll. Here it is $16. That is the most expensive rainbow roll I have ever seen in the midwest. Lunch for two with a Coke and a beer cost $50. I don't see myself having lunch here everyday, but I will definitely consider it again for some special occasions.”

She understood our budget and alerted us promptly if we wanted to up the bar tab for our guests when we hit our “limit”. I was too busy mingling that I didn’t get a chance to have any food but my guests couldn’t stop raving about the bacon wrapped scallops we had passed. It was alittle warm but it was on the second floor in August in Florida so not their fault lol. It was also VERY spacious, I never felt crowded with 125 people plus the patio was a huge bonus. Would highly recommend anyone use Kingfish grill for their event/dinner!! Thank you!”

You can pick up day-old baked items at reduced prices; but I prefer to go early and buy what’s fresh out of the oven. Nothing tastes as good as that. It’s nice for lunches, too. The Café Selection, especially sandwiches, use the bread they make and fill them with tasty combinations. It’s an ideal spot to take your children, catch up with friends, or as I do, host a business coffee, and/or often get something to go. Check out the community table – it really shows great support and loyalty to local residents. The pastry section, since I am such a scone connoisseur, is my favorite. There is no missing the “just-baked” flavor that makes them worth the calories. Every time I’m there I see people buying their caramel nut rolls – only my mom’s recipe beats them 😊. There are made with lots of butter and are chucked full of caramel. While you can purchase them with & without nuts, we prefer the nut version. It’s also very nice that these and many other items re for sale and in both mini and large sizes. The staff are vey friendly, this is something that I find is more common in small towns. I enjoy the chat about menu options, how the food is made, the baking schedule, and why they are so proud of their coffee. Check out this video where I’m filming, and the bakers are so pleasant and waving so friendly. It's a easy to go place for people with wheelchairs. You can enter in the back parking lot and not have to deal with any stair steps or ramp.”
