“Wayne installed new gutters at our home in 2020 and we have been exceptionally pleased with the quality installation and performance of the new gutters. I was mortified when earlier this year I accidentally backed a U-Haul truck into the roof overhand right in the middle of our front-facing garage, leaving a noticeable crease/crumple in the gutter as well as some damage to the shingles. We called Wayne out to review the damage and schedule repair. Despite the impact of supply shortages and extremely-limited availability of the color we had chosen 2 years ago, the guys at Wayne went the extra mile to find a 50-ft piece of gutter material in the same color to make the repair, and it looks AMAZING! We decided to upgrade our roof to Class 4 damage resistant shingles to save on our insurance premiums.They were competitive and thorough in bidding the project. During demolition they discovered code issues with the decking previously used and worked with our insurance to have that covered. He got up and found there was no proper ventilation ,and the chimmeny needed flashing.the garage was in in very bad shape he recommended a full replacement.I have no knowledge of roofing but he put me at ease he showed step by step what they were going to do. “With winter approaching, I thought it would be a good idea to climb up on my roof and seal around the six skylights, four exhaust vents, chimney flashing and four vent pipes to prevent leaks as I've experienced in the past. Big mistake, my roof is so steep I was afraid I'd slide off. My neighbor recommended SML Roofing here in Peabody. I called their office early afternoon on 12/2/20 and Tammy Lamonde answered. Right off she was cheerful, pleasant and anxious to help. After I explained the reason for my call, she told me Steve was working nearby and she would call him to see if he could stop by. Shortly thereafter, Steve arrived. After climbing a ladder to assess the situation, we agreed on a price and he got to work. Not only did he seal around the critical areas, he discovered a section of missing roof caps and decomposing mortar around the chimney which he replaced and repaired, WITHOUT AN UP-CHARGE ON OUR AGREED UPON PRICE. He also told me that my roof, which is 31 years old, is in good shape and can likely last for another 6 to 8 years with occasional maintenance. At the conclusion of the work I discovered that Tammy & Steve are husband and wife and that they've been in business for more than 15-years.
