“We hired Seven Generations Build Group to construct and finish out a 2400 square foot Barndominium in Johnston County. The Worldwide Steel building has a 1000 square foot in-law apartment inside, the remaining 1400 square feet is a finished garage. Tyler, the owner, came highly recommended and certainly lived up to expectations. Tyler and Don provided a written estimate of costs and updated us every two weeks on estimate vs actual cost. There were several aspects of the project which had to be revised due to the availability of materials. Tyler worked with the engineer to accommodate those changes. Tyler was always available to answer any questions and often recommended energy efficient choices such as spray foam etc. The building was finished several months ago and the average electricity bill has been around $1.20 a day cooling both the residence and the garage. Tyler and Don handled every aspect of the project to include foundation, building erection, framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, septic, insulation, painting, cabinet install, door and window install, painting and flooring. “Let me begin by saying – We're absolutely thrilled with the final product and love what Semper Fi did with our home. We hired Semper Fi in the summer of 2022 for a fairly involved project including but not limited to: complete reside, replacement of soffit/fascia, new gutters, removal of a vacant chimney, rebuilding soffit lines to fill void of removed chimney, installation of new storm and exterior doors as well as a flat roof EDM rubber replacement. Our project was relatively extensive. It seemed every step of the way there were complications, missed communications but no matter what was thrown at us, Brad (the project manger) at Semper Fi adjusted to make sure we ended up with something we were happy with. After two of the mix ups the owner Vito called me which was a exemplary gesture. In the beginning stages of the job it was discovered that they didn’t have enough material to finish two of the surfaces that needed siding; Brad, our project manager, drove up to Eau Claire the next day to get the needed material from the supply house. It’d have been ideal to not have had any of these complications but that’s not what life is and certainly not how 2022 has been, in general. The quote from Rocky says it best, “It ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.” This review could’ve very easily been a one star if the project manager Brad and the owner Vito weren’t as diligent at their job as they are. I appreciate the thorough and thoughtful approach to such a large project. Thank you all.”
