“This is our first year at Mudpies and it has been great. Our son loves the after school program as well as the summer program. It's great to see the kids outside playing and not playing video games. They keep the kids busy all summer and even have an on site splash pad. They already have our daughter down to one nap which is a great relief for us! The staff is great and they are always quick to answer questions that we may have. I would highly recommend Mudpies.”

“We have been at Athenian for 3 years and love it! We feel like family here! All the staff is always friendly and helpful. The principal and vice principal are very involved, we always see them in every event and you can see all the kids love them. I would highly recommend this school if you are looking to be more than just a number in a huge public school.”

“Very great school! Against bullying and kids being unkind. I have had an amazing experience and am really sad to be leaving the PV as well as the community. I love the kids and the teachers - They are very involved. I would really recommend this school. 👍💕”

“My twin brother, Jim, and I were some of the first students at SMG. We received an excellent education and it paved the way for success as Christians and our University studies.”

“Music with Miss Kris is MAGICAL! She is truly genuine and has a kind soul. She values children’s individual personalities. She involves children throughout the class and interacts with them. She tries to get to know each child and helps them feel comfortable, allowing them to interact and participate when they are ready. Miss Kris promotes and encourages self-confidence through music and social interactions. We started out virtual during the pandemic times, and the effort she puts through virtual experience is the same as in-person! She makes our children feel loved, valued and adored. Core memories happen with each music class experience together. I will always remember our son being ecstatic that we could “really meet and see Miss Kris in REAL LIFE!?!” when we were able to begin in person music class and the joy still continues. Both of our children RUN to her to at the beginning of class. She brings JOY, Laughter, Love, and excitement to our family each week.”

“From a teacher's point of view, this is a great school! I figure it is OK to post as a teacher if I disclose that, because some may use these reviews to inform themselves about whether or not to seek employment here. The principal is involved, supportive, and knows so many of the students by name. He is my favorite out of the 4 I have worked under. There is a negative review on here about drugs groups and that he teachers should do something about them, but I can tell you we do all we can. Every provable case at school events or on school grounds results in officers being involved, the student(s) being removed from campus for an extended period of time, and ineligibility from activities. We random drug test any student with a parking permit or involved in any activity and we have K9 sweeps of the parking lot. We do our best and I am not sure what else she wants us to do. The school works hard to make sure there are a variety of clubs and activities for the kids to get involved in because they believe involved kids are less likely to feel disconnected and get involved in negative habits/groups. There is an anime club, a rock music club, video game club, fishing club, archery club, etc. The idea is to get something for everyone. There are several service oriented clubs and I love seeing the students develop more skill/attention to giving time and organizing charitable efforts. I see Wylie East as a school for of people who care about others helping teacher kids and encouraging them to care about others as well. It is a great place to work and I am happy to have my own children coming through this school.”

“We had an amazing experience at James Marshall! It was the best environment for my son to socialize, play and learn. Mrs. Hinton is an incredible teacher not only for the children, but for the us as the parent. Her style of teaching helped us learn how to parent our child by giving him the tools he needed to support himself. Self regulate, problem solve and how to learn the difference between “sharing” and letting a friend have a turn. I tell Erin Hinton she needs to write a book, we all as parents would appreciate and live by her philosophies! If you have the opportunity to go to JMPNS, take it. You will never regret that choice!”

“I have been associated with the school for seven years. My daughter graduated last year. I see some negative comments about phones being taken up when they went off in class, the school is strict on this to avoid interruptions in the class room. My daughter had hers taken up once, guess what she made sure it was off the remaining years she was there. We had to make a trip up there to retrieve the phone and made sure she understood this would be the last time it happened. The school is proud of the sports programs and the incredible success of them. Allatoona graduates many students every year that receive Athletic Scholarships ranging from Football, Softball, Baseball, Lacrosse, Wrestling, Basketball, Tennis etc.. however I see the coaches interacting with the student athlete to ensure grades are maintained. The dress code is strict (very strict) which is a positive, not a negative. Proper conduct is enforced in classrooms and outside of them at all events. I have seen kids marched out of plays, stadiums etc... for poor conduct. I have a feeling some of these post most likely came from earlier years at the school as I have never heard one student complain about computers (lack there of). As for the technology, glitches happen even with the best equipment. The students will realize this once they are in the Adult world pursuing their careers. The school is eight years old now and looks new thanks to the dedication of the leadership there. No organization or establishment is perfect, however they strive for excellence in all areas.”

“Pauline is an awesome teacher who truly wants you to succeed. She is observant of your technique and understands that the learning process can be challenging. The Welding Workshop has been a godsend to me. This is the ONLY legitimate one-on-one style welding course on Long Island. Pricing is good too compared to the other courses which are offered on LI (there are barely any). I have been a student here for 5 months. During this time Pauline has been preparing me for the structural welding certification exam. We will also be dabbling in TIG. Pauline goes the extra mile. She tries to help with employment opportunities and gives advice in what to expect in a typical welding interview. This is a huge benefit if your an uncertified entry level welder new to the field.”

“I have been going to Hill College’s Holistic Wellness Pathway program for the last 2 years (I am finished after this semester!) and I have had an amazing experience. Specifically, professor Dr. Lori Rose has been amazing and everything one could hope for in a teacher! I have had very great experiences with admissions, financial aid, and academic advisors. I had a slight issue when I first applied but it was due to my misunderstanding and my academic advisor was helpful in coming to a resolution that worked. If you are nervous about this school due to Google reviews, here is my personal opinion and experience. It is absolutely worth it, especially for the Holistic Wellness Pathway.”
