“Good school. The front parking is a big issue with people stopping their cars in line while traffic backs up. Ignorance. They could use some trash/recycling bins in the front and sides for the kids that litter! Update: Now, I give it 5 stars. With the new principal, things are getting done finally. The NEW parking/pick up arrangement has been fantastic! I see new garbage cans. I do propose more garbage cans, especially in the front of the school. I also propose more benches. Especially by the playground so parents can sit.”

“I have a 7 year old boy and 4.5 year old girl, both of them are going to graduate from Trust in two months. They started going to Trust when they were 2 year old. The school is part of our daily life for 5 years now, and there are so many things to write about, I will try to make it brief... 1. How I come to Trust- Trust is a chinese-english bilingual private school for kids from 2 year old till first grade. As a first time mom, I visited all the bilingual school with 20miles distance in 2010, to find the right one, and picked trust among all, because, 1). the class rooms are clean, and temperature is comfortable. 2). the teachers have genuine smiles and smile right into my eyes. 3) The administration is very open an take me around classrooms without reservation. 4). the school is in a real campus, instead of residential house or commercial building 4) kids look clean and happy, 5) no complicated tuition structures, it is 7:30 to 6:30. 6) back to the teachers, they are all very upbeat and gentle at the same time, without knowing much, I can tell these are the people I would like my kids to spend time with. 2. The teachers: the kids change room each year, and will be with different teachers. For 2-3 year old, there are 3 teachers for each class, and for the 4 -7year old, 2 teachers each room. We have worked with most of the teachers if not all. Each everyone of them is awesome. On top of being loving, caring, knowledgable, they are also charismatic individual in life. Ms D, the head teacher for first grade and kinder garden, has a colorful background, includes performing, before becoming a professional educator. Her teaching is vibrant, and effective. Ms Joy the Chinese teacher for the same grade, always cheerful with great imaginaton, my son learnt so many chinese words from her. Ms Yang and Ms Daisy, my daughter's current room teachers, they really know how to talk to and play with younger kids, and truly cultivating the young minds. Ms. Katy, Shirley, Peng, Eva, Gina, Sarah, Julie, Kelsey, Jackie, they are all outstanding educators, I will need to write different reviews for each teacher, and all 5 stars! 3. The administration, Ms Ann and Ms Flora, are very supportive and accommodating. They really listen to parents feedback in terms of each student individual need, and make arrangement accordingly. 4. School activities: the school put a lot of efforts in singing, dancing and performing, and that is for every single kid. I can't imagine how hard it is to teach two year olds to sing and dance on stage, but nonetheless, they spend the time and energy to let every kid to have the opportunity to perform. I bring my family and friends every time to watch the performance, and we enjoy it every time. There are also field trip to Egyptian museum, San Francisco Opera, Almaden mining museum, CDC, pumpkin patch. 5. Classmates and parents: I found the kids and parents here are very likable too, a smart and happy bunch too. My kids love their teachers, and the school, they ask to come back for after school, and I am very happy with the school, they are my friends and almost like family at times. It is a great experience for all of us.”

“Have had 2 children be enrolled here and will eventually have 2 more. I think they should have more art classes available and do better checking of students choosing arts for their electives. For a college program my child needed 4 years of art but did not get it for the freshman year because there was no room and they had to turn away many many students. A lot of the students that did get in were just taking it because they think it will be an easy class credit. It is unfair to the kids that actually want to do art. The French teacher and Art teacher are amazing! So far there is only 1 teacher I do not care for, a civics teacher that preaches his political views to the class. My child should learn every view and not be taught to view only one side.”

“We transferred to AGS last school year when my daughter was starting 1st grade. I was nervous for her to start a new school, but everyone was so nice. It made the transition really easy. It really is like a family. My daughter loves it, and so happy we made the change.”

“Did my scuba certification with Raul! Had a blast! Initially, had some issues clearing and managing breath. Raul calmly and patiently walked me through step-by-step, and carefully examined each dive to identify problem areas, even going so far as to find a new mask that instantly corrected all issues! Made a diver out of me!”

“I'm sadly a former student of Vandora. That school was amazing. The principals and staff are also amazing. It's like 1 BIG HAPPY FAMILY! I will highly recommend Vandora to any child or family. The school was old, but they're rebuilding it, and I saw the plans and it's probably going to be one of the biggest elementary schools in Wake County. The school was great before, but in Spring 2018 it'll be even better. I'm in 7th Grade and I still love and miss it. I wish and pray the best for any child who is starting school at Vandora, they don't have to worry, Vandora will take care of them, so parents don't have to worry. I love Vandora, I hope all of you do too! 😇⚡ 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 📚📚📚📚📚”

“My daughter has attended Effica for the last 2 years and we are so happy we chose this school. She has really evolved both academically and socially. The teachers and Miss Asha have provided such a loving environment where you can feel the children are truly cared for. I have always appreciated the thoughtful and consistent communication from the school and that we are always welcome to observe, call, email, or make time to meet in person. Effica has really helped to bring out the best in my daughter and to begin her schooling years the way every child deserves---by nurturing her individuality!”

“My son went to kindergarten at Plumbrook for the year 15-16. Sadly after allot of debate and prayer my husband and I will be moving and have to transfer him. Therefore I wanted to let everyone know what a great school this is! From the staff to the teachers, the volunteers and even the students. Everyone there was so nice, courteous and helpful. The security was amazing, which was one big reason we chose this school to begin with. They host wonderful events agter school for the kids and family to attend. His teacher was very good at keeping in touch with his academics and his behavior. As far as discipline goes, it was always handled with positive reinforcement. I believe this school and his teachers helped him greatly in adjusting from preschool to kindergarten, welling thank them enough. It's with a heavy heart that we cannot attend the rest of elementary at Plumbrook. I hope that anyone who comes to this school has the best experience we had.”
