“Fire Lake Preschool is amazing! They focus on kids learning through play and through interactions with classmates and teachers. They are always welcoming to parents (or other caregivers) who are interested in watching or participating in school. If parents have a concern, the teachers are more than willing to work with them to come up with a solution. My oldest son went for two years and my youngest son is in his second year, and they loved/love Fire Lake Preschool! In fact, my oldest wishes he could go back! I would definitely recommend Fire Lake Preschool to anyone who would like their children to learn in a fun, friendly, warm environment. I believe my oldest (in 1st grade now) is better equipped with handling the classroom/classmate environment because of the skills he’s learned at Fire Lake Preschool.”

She is able to adjust her teaching style to what works for the individual student. She is an expert in explaining things in different ways to find what clicks for you. Marla is extremely knowledgeable about vocal training and continually finds ways to encourage her students. In addition her patience and excitement about reaching her students makes her an excellent choice as a voice teacher! I highly recommend her. Under her tutelage, I have improved my breath support, tempo, and pronunciation.
