“I know that some people may be upset with their or their child's experience at HVMS and I get that. every school gets complaints and here at HVMS we embrace them and use them to make our school are more fun, and welcoming place to be, but we don't let them define who we are. I know middle school can be a scary threatening place for newcomers but I found that when I came to this school it almost instantly felt like home, most of the staff is so kind and welcoming and make us students feel safe. Our school welcomes all gender identifications, races, and helps the less fourtunante. And as for the bullies, well every school has them so saying that the only thing that defines us are our bullies is stupid and pointless because you could go to any school and experience bulling, and its not the kids fault. they should learn right from wrong from their parents not our teachers. Also almost none of the money we earn from fundraisers/dances goes to the 'Thirst Project" A company that collects funds to provide wells for people in africa, so we are most definately not self centered and selfish.”

“St. Francis Xavier Catholic School is excellent. With Christ as the center, the students tackle a rigorous curriculum in a very tech savvy environment. In my experience as a parent, most teachers are very kind, accommodating and eager to help their students achieve success. The students are really pushed to reach their full potential. There are also wonderfully growing music and athletic programs. My child who currently attends is excited to go to school most mornings because he is surrounded by a great group of classmates and teachers. “Small Christian school, that regardless of attending services on the weekend you feel a part of their family. We attend elsewhere and were recommended cross of Christ preschool from a friend. Her English communication skills have flourished, progressing from virtually non-existent to the point where she can even translate for my parents. “My son has attended Mudpies and Lullabies since he was about 6 months old, he is now almost 5 years old. He, my husband, and I love this daycare! All staff are amazingly loving individuals. They care for my little guy like he is their own. I’m glad my son had a chance to attend Mudpies but I’m sad that he will be moving to a big kid school next year and we won’t be seeing the Mudpies family any more!
