Segres is nice but Mr roman speaks the truth way to much he will tell you if your breath stinks but the science teacher in 5th grade is fun we made slime and we are making edible dirt to eat the dirt is crushed Oreos all this is in 5th grade the teachers are cool there if you end up in there classes I have 4 teachers 2 girls 2 boys which is the 4 man team all the teachers names are Ms.segres the ELA teacher Ms.styles the math teacher Mr. roman the social studies teacher and Mr.long the science teacher so math is hard like you had to round decimals like 99.71 whole number Well maybe for me but not you and you sometimes have homework on Fridays and have a whole bunch of projects from mr.long like volcanos magnets slime edible dirt and you can make animal cells and roller coasters we don't have specials on Wednesdays because it's wind back wedsnday well if your just going here you will probably have fun you will probably not because the cielent lunch”

“This was the place I discovered who I truly was, and graduating was very sad for me because I liked it here so much. Teachers and administrators are very kind and understanding, but my favorite part of it all was Glee Club. If you have a child who enjoys to sing, dance, or who would like working with spotlights, microphones, etc. it’s a very good practice for musical theatre, dance, gymnastics, and stage directing. It allows all of the students who join form a better sense of teamwork, and commitment. The club director, Mr. Ruiz was my favorite teacher, and will always be.”

The "High school experience" here is something completely different than what most expect, on account of the small size of the school, the relaxed atmosphere, and it's integration of courses in cooperation with the Technical Institute next door. The students are generally self-motivated (especially those that attend SCTI!) and help promote a closely knit, accepting community. Many students that find difficulty "fitting in" in other schools find little difficulty in making friends here (because we're all weird in our own ways) The teachers are varied in their levels of expertise, compassion, and teaching methods (just like every high school), but most of them help in providing a caring, safe, and respectful environment.”

Kirk nurtures the individual, unique spirit in each child while providing a great education. I am pretty sure the teachers at Kirk have found a way to magically squeeze more hours into the school day! At the end of a busy week, when I talk to my son about what he did (reading, writing, math, science, engineering, computers, karate, yoga, basketball, library, music, art, cooking, and more) I can't believe how many wonderful experiences he has. The school also places an emphasis on developing character and citizenship. My son started with just a few hours a week at the Tot Center and loved it so much he went to Preschool 5 days.
