“Apples is a great locally owned grocery store. They have good prices and sales and really fresh food. The store is wheelchair accessible and they have the motorized grocery carts available right at the entrance of the store. There is ample parking off Abbe rd. It is usually not too crowded and only takes a few minutes to check out. Apples has all the grocery essentials at great prices, and it’s locally owned. Great all around. I highly recommend this store over the local Walmart.”

She spent 20 minutes describing the provenance of every bourbon in the store, the area and the state! Her knowledge of the bourbon industry is impressive. Walmart is lucky to have her!”

“I often shop at the Apple Tree Market in Southwest Chula Vista and I think it's a great store. Their meat prices are great. A nice t-bone, enough to feed 3, can be bought for seven or eight bucks. Apple Tree is also well- staffed, with fast, helpful cashiers, butchers and produce stockers. Their produce recently went up quite a bit, but it's convenient, especially when the nearby Walmart carries no fresh produce. Apple Tree also has a hot food section selling Mexican favorites, and freshly made, still-hot tortillas. For a smaller, neighborhood store, Apple Tree stocks a good selection of items.”
