“My husband and I recently visited Livingstone because it's my dad's alma mater. My dad Max Yoder was the first white student to attend and graduate from Livingstone and helped to integrate the Capital Theater, and was arrested for his efforts (sitting with his friends in the "wrong" color section!), along with many black students fighting for the equality they deserved. We were given an amazing tour by a graduate named Samuel, who was excellent with the students. The campus is impressive! The academics are strong! And they offer a growing variety of majors, particularly in science and medicine! The brand new football field is AMAZING and Livingstone has claims on successful athletes, including one young woman who recently competed in the Olympics! As a high school teacher of 11th & 12th grade students, I will be displaying Blue Bear banners in my Indiana classroom and will be promoting Livingstone College enthusiastically for years to come! Thank you, Livingstone, for all you've done for the Max Yoder family and legacy!”

Attended Saugus HS and CoC degree graduations this week. Only negative was difficult for older adults and disabled individuals to navigate hills.”

“So much fun! I had a wonderful ride in the SNJ-4. I loved every second. I was given a certificate for a ride as a gift and it was a perfect gift. I have traveled several hundred thousand miles in commercial airplanes and I've never experienced anything like this. We flew over Folsom lake and did a big loop over the water and experienced some fun aerobatics. I really enjoyed the views, the fun flying and I was treated like a VIP.”
