“Marty and the team at Fresno Flight Training is awesome! I went all the way through private, complex, high-performance, and ultimately instrument rating. Over the course of my journey I flew with almost all of the instructors and every one is knowledgeable, proficient, and adds something to creating a better safer Pilot. Loved the experience!”

“Managed to catch up on 6 months of Calculus 2 in 6 sessions. The tutors are all very kind and patient. Both tutors I got were previous college professors that had extremely high rating on ratemyprofessor and they definitely lived up to their reputation. Would use again.”

“Got my BFA in Visual Art from MGSA in 1994 - my experiences at Rutgers during this time prepared me for the adversity and successes that were to come in my career ahead - the art program was extremely challenging and exhausting at times while keeping up with other class requirements. I have zero regrets and would recommend MGSA for those staying in state and want a fantastic and challenging creative career - whether its visual art, acting or music...very proud of my BFA from this school!”

“Seattle Colleges serves all of metropolitan Seattle and its surrounding communities and comprises the largest community college district in the state, educating more than 45,000 students each year. The first classes were held in the Edison Vocational Technical Institute on Capitol Hill, when Seattle Community College—now Seattle Central College—opened in 1966 as part of the public school system. The State Community College Act of 1967 established college districts apart from the public schools, with a mandate to provide an open door to education for all who seek it. A long-range plan called for three campuses in the city, and planning began immediately for North Seattle College and South Seattle College. Community College Act signing ceremony Community College Act signing ceremony, 1967 By September 1970, all three colleges opened together for the first time as a multicampus district. Seattle Vocational Institute, affiliated with Central, joined the district in 1991 under the state’s Workforce Training and Education Act. The district also includes five specialized training centers located throughout the city: Health Education Center, Seattle Maritime Academy, and Wood Technology Center, affiliated with Central. Georgetown Campus and NewHolly Learning Center, affiliated with South. Students choose from an array of more than 130 academic and career and technical education (CTE) programs, the largest number in the state. The curriculum has led the way as the Puget Sound area moved from a manufacturing and resource-based economy to information-based industries. Like the region, the college population is dynamic. The student body is the most diverse in the Northwest, reflecting nearly 80 different languages spoken in homes throughout the city. By design, each of the colleges reflects its community. While the colleges are an integral part of their neighborhoods and offer certain unique educational programs, all are comprehensive and offer programs in college transfer, career and technical training, adult basic education, and continuing education.”

“We have taken many classes at different campuses and enjoyed all of them. The most recent we took was the two day training in Social Media Web Marketing taught by Martin Brossman through the Small Business Center. It was very informative and helpful. The best part was the instructors enthusiasm and personal interest in our success for our business which motivated us greatly. We are going to schedule a free consulting session with the Small Business Center director next.”

“Ground School/Flights Lessons: Long overdue review. I’ve received instructions from different instructors/schools, and San Carlos Flight Center is a flight School of it’s own kind. I took Herb’s Private Pilot Ground School course back in 2019 at the old location next to Hiller Aviation Museum, and it’s a course I recommend to anyone interested in flying. At the time it was $300, you can come back anytime within two years to complete the course (if you stop attending for any reason). One class a week (two days to pick from…Tuesday night?/Thursday morning?). 12 weeks at three (four?) hour sessions (OR you can pay an individual instructor 36 hours @ regular instructor rate of at least $80/hour)…you do the math…there aren’t that many flights schools anywhere that offer a Private, and or Instrument Ground School for a fix rate. If you pass the weekly exams/final practice test, you can get your endorsement to take the knowledge/written exam. The course wasn’t easy, lots of reading and studying, but well worth the money. I’ve met private students at an accelerated program where no one preps you for the written exam, and fraction of the ground class. I wish I would have taken the Instrument Ground School, and finished my private/instrument certificate through SCFC.”
