“Dr Phillips is a very caring and compassionate vet. Very knowlegeable but realistic. Our boston had signs of cushings and he did the bloodwork to rule out other major things, after we decided the continual testing and expensive medications to manage such a condition were outside of our ability to maintain. She went on almost two years living comfortably well. When she suddenly worsened and developed a mean skin infection, again he tested the most economically feasable way to show her organ function. With that information put her on antibiotics and antiseptic shampoo. A week later when she was worsening and in visable pain we returned to have her euthanized. I know he hated to do it, but he was so kind and made her and me as comfortable as humanly possible. This was in stark contrast of experiences I have had with other vets on larger practices. I very strongly recommend Dr Phillips for your babies needs.”

“We had to recently put our dog of 14 years down. Our Sugar was so loved and it was so difficult to let her go but the staff at this vet was amazing. They were so compassionate and took us in same day and cared for our dog in such a way and made her so comfortable we felt like family. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do but the reassurance and care we received was everything in that moment. Our cats are booked for this weekend to be fixed and I am at ease knowing this place will treat them with as much love and compassion as us. It's hard to choose a vet these days but I am really thankful we found these amazing people to care for our pets. I truly thank them for everything they did to ease such a sad day for my family. My brother's recommended this vet and I see why. They are exceptional and you can really feel comfortable trusting them with your fur family. “We recently moved back to the area and were looking for a new vet. In the meantime, our little doggy Daisy started to get sick. They were so accommodating to get her in right away on a Friday. To our surprise, the Dr. called us on a Saturday morning with the test results and had a plan of action, including getting her in for a follow-up right away. One of the most impressive things was that when things went beyond their scope of expertise, they recommended us going to an emergency vet in Madison. When Daisy, unfortunately, passed a week later, the staff here were amazing and called us to say they were sorry to hear about our loss. Incredibly above and beyond and very thoughtful.”

“We usually take Tex to his normal vet who always does so well with him but have recently moved over an hour away, making the drive too much for him. Thrive was close to home and very affordable. Tex can be an absolute handful in new settings while being around new people considering his terrible anxiety. That being said, they did very well with my energetic pup and I appreciate how sweet and helpful the vet was herself!!
