“I hope to breed my Golden even though she isn’t registered. I want to make sure I do it properly, that she is healthy enough and has no conditions that she could pass to her offspring. I wanted to first check for hip dysplasia. Dr Ihnen made me feel comfortable that I was going about breeding in the correct way and never once made me feel bad about the fact that she wasn’t registered. (Her mom wasn’t therefore she can’t be either without being spayed ). He gave me suggestions for additional DNA tests that could be run.”

“I brought my dog in for an instant flea medication, even though I'm not from here and had no records. I took Luther to the open hours (9:00-11:00 and 1:00-3:30) at 12:50 and was seen within a half hour! The staff (Dr. Heart) were so gentle with Luther that he let his guard down quickly and was more relaxed than with our other vet. They were extremely knowledgable, friendly and honest about the treatment he needed, and treatments he DIDN'T need that my other vet has him on. I appreciated the very reasonable prices and service! I recommend this place to anyone in this area, and wish I had these guys near where I live, in the Fort Lauderdale area.”

“I figured I should write a review since ive been taking my dogs here and have always had a great experience. Everyone I’ve met that works here has been very kind, understanding, and amazing at their job. Even when I have limited funds I’ve explained how much I have to spare to the vet who has helped me work out plans of getting the most important things done first so I can come back at a later time for any other things my dog may need. My dog is EXTREMELY shy and fearful of people but they’ve been amazing and he has been very comfortable with the staff. Would give 10 stars if I could!”

“This vet was amazing when we sadly had to put our cat to sleep. She was 15 and started having seizures. We called this animal hospital and asked if they had an opening as soon as possible. They were able to squeeze us in because of the situation and told us there might be a slight wait. They took us to a room right away and they went above and beyond showing their compassion during a difficult time. They wrote sweet pipee on the board in the room they took us to, which we thought was so nice. The woman that gave the medicine to our cat let my 18 yr old hold her while she put her to sleep. We didn't want to lay her down and the vet understood and offered for us to keep holding her. That really meant a lot to us. I asked her if she could cut a little of her hair off for us and she said of course and she would be right back. She also brought us her foot prints with ink and foot prints in clay and even her hair in a little glass jar. We were so touched. She said she they give the ink print in case people want to get a tattoo. I couldn't believe the extra care they give. As I walked out the door I noticed a candle and a note at the front desk, and I again couldn't believe their compassion when I read it. It was our first time at this vet and we will definitely be back for care for our other animals. I unfortunately have had a couple animals I've had to say goodbye to the same way and I've never experienced anything like this at a vet.”

“Had a great experience today. My dog had a pretty bad ear infection. The doctor and assistant were thorough with explaining what's going on and the treatment plan. They were great with him also. He is such a sweetheart but he gets a little growlyyyy so he got muzzled for safety. They let me put it on because he was so nervous and antsy. They did great during the exam and were very calm to keep him calmer. (He is in pain and his anxiety is high) Only thing that shocked me was my total cost. 😱 I didn't expect it to be that much. 🥺 Great service though! - Hopefully he will be feeling better soon ❤️ We come back in 2 weeks to recheck him.”
