“Every vet office I go, to I feel like they have this "holier than thou" attitude, and I go home feeling like I've done something terribly wrong- but NOT at Kenwood! They were so kind and compassionate with my dog! They even let me see his stitches and be with him while his bandages were changed. Many of the workers stopped by to greet my dog and say hi and it was very welcoming. Reasonably priced also. If you want a vet that cares, come to Kenwood.”

“Dr Levy has helped us and our sweet dog immensely. She had some labs that were abnormal and our vet was jumping to all sorts of worse case scenarios. Both the vet tech and the veterinarian who saw my dog were WONDERFUL with my dog and with me. I was able to stay with my dog while she was euthanized and was treated with compassion. I was actually shocked at my total cost. Much less expensive than my regular local vet. I ended up here after a HORRIBLE experience at WeCare emergency vet in Waldorf. I will drive straight to Dogs and Cats Emergency if any of my pets ever require emergency care. Thank you to the staff who was working very early morning on Sunday 24 July 2022. “Dr. Baird and her staff have been incredible with my 13yo dog, Seamus. Seamus has had bilateral cruciate surgical repairs, and has hip dysplasia with some significant muscle wasting. He has been having twice weekly laser and underwater treadmill sessions, and I'm seeing a significant difference in him, as are friends and family (unprompted!) who don't see him on a daily basis. He's less hesitant to stand from a lying position, and he's just happier and more comfortable. Special thanks to Valerie and Sarah, who do an incredible job working with my stubborn dog! They provide progress updates, answer any questions, and they love him so much. As I'm in the field as well, I can tell you that I trust them. My weird dog is nervous and this is the only place besides the beach and Nana's house that he ENJOYS going! Dr. Baird did an extremely thorough workup at Seamus' initial consult, and came highly recommended to me by multiple local DVMs. This is SO worth it!! “It was our new puppy visit for Addi my French Bulldog. They answered all my questions and concerns. Despite being short staffed 4 people they were also more then happy to clean her ears and cut her nails for me too. Have loved going here for years!! Caring, compassionate, informative, and helpful! Was in and out in 40 minutes. She got a thorough exam, 2 shots, and extras. Also they are very reasonable in terms of cost. They also gave her her first month of monthly prevention free for flea, tick, heart worm, round worm, and so on.”

“New to the area, my cats had ear issues for a year that three vets had looked at and said were not mites or infection. First visit here for unrelated issue (one had a URI) and he immediately diagnosed the ear issue as well and started treatment, their ears now don't hurt for the first time in a year. Now have a complex medical case cat who has been near death a couple of times, and he has been incredibly compassionate and knowledgeable, as well as available and patient in advising and providing treatment. He also has worked with our budget without judgement (not everyone can do an MRI for example). Highly recommend him to anyone who wants the best care for their animals.”
