“We recently found island life vet after being dissatisfied with our previous vet. What a positive change ! Our dog recovered quickly from neuter procedure, and the bill was much less than originally quoted. And more recently, I was concerned about our dog and they allowed me to send in photos of the injured area to determine urgency. They squeezed us in on a Friday evening so that our dog wouldn’t be in pain over the weekend!! Beautiful office, friendly staff, and fair prices. Absolutely recommend.”

“This is the vet you need to go to!!! I normally don't take time out of my day to write a review but the outstanding service my dogs received at Tillou made me want to. I have two rescue pit mixes that are not good with other dogs and can be timid of others. They especially don't like to be picked up. I was very nervous going in. Dr. Tillou and the vet assistants did and AMAZING job easing this anxiety. Every time in the parking lot I called and a vet assistant came out to muzzle my dogs. The woman was very assertive when picking my dogs up despite growling and peeing everywhere. They did pee in the office and they were all so nice about it as I felt so bad. They were precautious and got the job more than done! I felt they really went the extra mile. Price wise, one of my dogs needed eye surgery to remove an adenoma (benign tumor). It is a pandemic and I was very nervous of the price in general. With all services for both dogs including check up, eye surgery, rabies vaccine, and nail clipping the total cost came to 400 dollars! Tillou Veterinary Hospital is the most affordable and best care possible! I highly recommend taking your fur babies here.”

“Here’s the deal: these guys are great. They are kind, friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Oh, and honest. My last vet was in the “pharmacy-up-charge” and “do-tests-without-mentioning-costs-until-it’s-too-late” business; these guys offered pricing of everything up front and we’re all for suggesting less-profitable options. While the building is on the north side of the lake on car-repair-row (I’ve seen more elegant structures in Depression era photos), the inside is modern and really nice. The staff was all super sweet and gentle. The vet seemed like he used to be a country livestock doctor (was no nonsense), but I liked knowing he knew exactly what needed to be done. The rest of the staff made up with the lovey dovey factor.. The vet even personally did phone follow up twice. I’ll be a lifelong customer!”

“In response to Ms Carla's review. Although she is a nice person she does not know landlord tenant law, and wanted me to do things that are outside the scope of of the law. Also I was not her manager, I came into the middle of a situation to try to help her. She wanted the home she was renting returned back to new condition at the tenants expense, I tried to explain I could only charge the tenant for items that were not normal ware and tare. While the tenants were living there she refused to allow me to do any repairs, when the homeowners association demanded exterior repairs she made me do things like have the rotted wood painted over. I inspected the townhouse five times and made suggestions, gave her updates, and pictures every time I went. The tenant held over for 3 weeks from the date he said he would move out, she called me many times to "get them out " I explained I could not just move their things out, I would have to go through the courts. After many talks with the tenant I was able to get him to move out, he did so on a Friday. She demanded I do all the work needed by Monday,this was not easy, but I did everything I could under the law. and had it complete over the weekend so she could move back in. Then the tenant contacted her directly, and somehow I became the bad guy For the following two weeks she did not return my calls, or try to contact me. In her review she says I did not help the tenant find a new home. One reason is he never asked, and given his actions I would not rent to him again. William E Wood nor I did anything wrong. As I said she is a nice person, just very frustrated.over a very confusing situation.”

“I've had pets my whole life. I used the same vet until I moved to NC 14 years ago. It wasn't easy to leave our trusted vet behind because it's not easy to find someone that you and your dogs and cats click with. We tried a few different places and finally found Hope Crossing Animal Hospital. With several animals in the house vet costs can be high but their services are so reasonably priced that it makes it easy to get our pets the care they need and deserve. And with several pets our training isn't always the best but everyone in the office is patient and understanding of our fur babies. They have made room to see us in emergencies and they always respond quickly to emails. Sadly, we have had to say goodbye to a few of our pets along the way and they made that experience as comfortable and loving as possible. I can't say enough good things about Dr Webster and the other Veterinarians and staff. I'm grateful that I found them!”

“I love Groveway. I found them in 2015 when my friend needed help choosing a vet to take her senior cat to say goodbye. I had never been in the room for a euthanasia before and I was very nervous, but needed to be there to support my friend. The entire staff was so compassionate and empathetic. They gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye. They really created a peaceful environment and they handled everything with so much grace that it really felt very beautiful. I have been taking my own pets there ever since. They also helped me have a peaceful goodbye with my first dog, what could otherwise have been a dark experience, was handled with such care. They even created a paw impression for us, which was very special. I have been taking all my animals to Groveway since 2015. My two cats and my other senior dog that has major oral surgery with them as well. I could not give Groveway and their staff higher praise or recommendation. Their new veterinary, Dr. Sip, is wonderful. And crazy enough, she specialized in exotics, which saved my friend's chinchilla who really was on the brink. Everyone at this hospital is incredible, your pets will be in the best hands. ?”
