I had to board my best friend due to an emergency so I didn't get to see him after the regular visit. The Dr. called me to update me on the visit. It was very personal and I greatly appreciated it. They truly care about each and every fur-baby who enters their doors with or without their human companion(s). “Walked in for a rabies shot for my dog. Took him to Friendly Animal Hospital and they took 3 hrs, gave him diarrhea, then did not give him the vaccine because the they were concerned about the other dog I brought in. Then I posted a yelp review and they responded online saying they had an emergency that day. AAA is way better and worth the drive down to the coast. We were in and out within 1 hour. The staff was super friendly, my dog did not have diarrhea after the appointment, it was quick and convenient, and they made no excuses.”

My pug had a horrible ulcer on her eye and her eye was about the rupture and Dr. Jones was able to save her eye completey! My other dog had a bad case of Mange and again Dr. Jones cured him. “There was a sweet dog that started hanging out around our neighborhood and suddenly yesterday was vomiting and excreting blood, weak. Talked to neighbors and she didn't belong to anybody. Couldn't get ahold of anybody near me up further north. So I called this hospital. Took her down and tested for parvo and was put in a special parvo room so it doesn't get to the rest of the hospital sick. She was positive. They gave me options, but she was so far into it that the only humane thing to do was to euthanize. The doctor and techs were amazing and compassionate. They scanned her for a microchip first, and allowed me to stay with her the whole time. Then when I got the bill, they did not charge for the exam or test, just the euthanasia. The entire time they were sweet and understanding with this strange situation, and I cannot praise them enough!”
