“Dr. Smith is wonderful, passionate about his work and beyond caring for his patients (and their owners). Years ago, when I brought home my first puppy, I become totally overwhelmed with all the things I was reading on the internet regarding feeding, vaccinations, etc. Dr. Smith actually took the time to explain to me the science behind what he recommends and was open to working with me in a way that would make me feel most comfortable. I've never experienced anyone in the medical field (human or animal) with so much understanding and compassion for my concerns. “Sweet Carolina Dog recent stroke survivor Sanctuary Senior dog "Autumn" with balance mobility difficulty, vision/hearing impairment from her stroke had a good visit at the vet. It was our Howls-n-Meows Animal Rescue first time going to this vet clinic. The staff there were very friendly & good with Autumn. The vet gave 4 meds for Sanctuary Senior Autumn's Hematoma of her ear to try to reduce swelling of her ear & to help manage any possible pain. Due to her old age and recent stroke surgery to drain fluid from her ear is not an option for her. So trying the topical medicine, ear drops, and two other oral medications to help reduce inflammation swelling of her ear with hematoma. I/our rescue recommends this vet clinic for others to bring their dogs to when vet care is needed. They are rescue friendly and they do accept called-in Donations for rescues that bring their dogs/cats there.”

“Okay! I get it now! I took my dog back because somehow she became sick with Parco. I was on vacation and had a pet sitter. I was like, whats all this blood? I took her in and said, what going on, you gave me a full bill of health. I notice that this was a different doctor. She said but did you know that they had to be de-wormed every month? I'm like, thats what I pay you for the $ 200 bucks a visit. Then shes like, well she might die, I need to put her in the hospital for $600.00. I'm like crying having a panic attack and all. I ask another clerk to bring me a glass of red wine. I couldn't drink it. I called my son crying and he said mom listen to me, leave and come home. When the clerk came back in she said; have you made a decision about, which care you want to go with? She told me that if I didn't want hospital care, they could give me supportive out-patient care for $125.00 a day. Also, that they would treat her today and gave me this bill enclosed. I said nope! I need to go home, the clerk then, started saying, then let us give her a Convenia, or we can give her a SC Fluid for $50 bucks today. I walked out paid my bill at the counter, finding that they had over billed my account. I said no , re-check your prices. Then the clerk said that he's sorry but they took the credit card machine and had to figure it out himself. Then the clerk told me that I need to pick my dog up so that she would not spread parvo in the clinic. I said, I will not pick her up, I walked her in here and I will walk her out. What a freaking nightmare.”

“I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Jones, Dr. Kari, Sam, and all of the staff at Vet Select Novi! My dog is dog reactive and selective about being handled. They helped me be sure the lobby would be clear so we could go to and leave the exam room without issue. They sat with my dog and fed her treats and made her comfortable before her exam. They supported our choice to muzzle for appointments without assuming my dog is bad or aggressive. When I called in a few weeks ago about some minor symptoms in my dog, the admin staff were very helpful about letting me know at what point to make an appointment. My dog recovered on her own and Vet Select called the next day to follow up. Most impactful of all, they were very thorough in all of their explanations of medicine costs, vaccine options, and training resources in the area. At each appointment so far, the doctors, vet techs, and admin staff have taken the time to build a relationship with my dog as well as my partner and I. I absolutely recommend Vet Select Novi!”
